Got mine today and thought there must be something wrong as I’ve never experienced this before with other sanders. Pretty annoying. Did you stick with it or figure a way around it?
@@Onecattwocat34 stuck with it & eventually got used to it & it’s great now, also can put a lot of pressure on it with no issues slowing down being battery operated 🎅
@@TomMagicWoodworking it hasn't been new in Canada. i bought it 3 or 4 years ago. i think they opted for a different design outside of North America and maybe finally consolidated it into the one configuration. unless your dewalt is older that 3-4-5 years old... maybe it was different a few years ago.
Me being a Makita guy is like marriage. You take the bad and the good.
Very true
I bought a Mikita and it’s seems to jolt everywhere, even when I don’t put a lot of pressure on it. Is it faulty ? Or is this normal!
I have to be honest. I use mine nearly every day, and I have never noticed mine doing it so I would think you have a faulty one. Thanks for watching
Just bought one, mine is very jerky, definitely couldn’t sand with one hand 😢
I have to be honest I have not had a problem with mine maybe don't put as much pressure on only thing i can think to suggest

Both Top Quality Orbital sanders. Why not get a cable and a battery version. Good investment.
Hi I have got both cable and battery version but the 18v version is A lot more user-friendly.
Suppose the cable version would be more comfortable but then not as portable
These days it really comes down to portability and Ease of use.

Think you have more hand grip choice Mikita.
👍
I have the Dewalt sander. My battery mounts sideways…. DCW201…
Hi yes I believe you have the new one where they have thought about it and fixed the problem. Thanks for watching

Oh ok then yes your right as that one is only a year or so old so must be a different design over here
@@TomMagicWoodworking too bad. The side ways battery is nicer in the hand but as you mentioned it still wants to do a wheelie haha.
The American version has the battery sideways so it isn’t in the way 👍
Really, i wonder why they changed it for over here interesting, though. Thanks for watching
