    I have been to Iceland 8 times and some signs you missed. Rest area signs. There is one with an outhouse on it. You missed the dead end sign. One sign that I use a lot is the sign that tells you about what in is in the area you are going to see. These are large signs with maps and info. There is the info sign. The 4x4 sign the tells you that you need a 4 wheel drive car. The sign that tells you that there are river to cross on the road. These are all that I can think of at this time. Thank you Ben

    The vast majority of these signs are common to all European countries. I live in Belgium, and we do have most of these signs.

    Thank you for this but are there really no signs indicating a glacier or a vulcano?
    I would have certainly bought such a sign at the first souvenir store. 😉

      That's because glaciers and volcanoes are not near roads usually.
