- The 3 Best LOWER AB Focused Planks
Looking to mix up your core training and find something you really feel working those abs, especially the lower abs, while also helping you avoid an achy lower back?
Then you’re going to love these 3 lower ab focused planks
Planks can be both great isometric exercises, but also more dynamic movements to target and strength our abs.
And with some specific variations, we can target that lower portion of the rectus abdominis even more!
That’s why I want to show you 3 ways to use planks to target those lower abs…including one move that is a great untraditional and challenging plank option even if you can’t do traditional planks due to shoulder issues!
And at the end I’ll share a great quick burner layout so you can use these 3 moves at the end of your workout!
Coach - you, Mark Wildman and Summer Huntington are the best on the internet. Brilliant and totally understandable teaching
Thanks!
Thank you, Michael. I love Mr. Wildman and this lady here. I going have to check out MS. Huntington.
I agree. She and Mark are the best!
I really like that you showed variations and emphasized doing the move correctly at the level you're at and showing the modifications.
So glad the tips help! And yes, every move is earned and we often challenge ourselves more when we are willing to regress to progress and meet ourselves where we are at!
Working for success will make you master but working for satisfaction will make you a legend.
Thank you ma'am
I love the idea of these three in a 2-3 round format! Perfect!
So impressive how quickly your channel has grown in the last 3 years.
OMG Cori! Your arms look amazing 🤩
Ooh, this is exactly a muscle section I need to work on, and I've already had good success toning my abs using other planking exercises before. I'm excited to see this one and have more in my repertoire! 😃👌👏
Have fun!
I have learnt so much from your channel thankyou sister ❤️from Kenya 🇰🇪
Another great workout addition to my exercise list, I really like the way give alternatives to compensate for injuries and the like. Keep it up, 67 and still working out.
Cori totally you are loved and amazing 👍Thank thank
Great variations AND instructions, Cori (as always). Thanks for posting. I have to say... I NEED your shoes !!!
Thanks for another fabulous video! This will be a great remedy to my weakened core (and resulting high hamstring tendinitis)!
So nice to watch your Demo. Well explained. You are doing a great job to the humanity. Thank you Mam.. 🙏🙏🙏
I've been doing the bodysaw recently, which I learned from you. It's really effective!
Great video .. definitely doing these 👍
The ab wheel has always been the exercise that i feel hits my lower abs the most.
Love the modified version, will be trying and including in my workouts.
Excellent thanks!
Thank you for these exercises. Slowly but surely I'm getting rid of the pandemic weight
Very delicated video & workouts
God bless you . You're a beautiful person.
excellent tutorial, how's those deltoids !
Amazing. Video ! Thank you
These are great additions to an ab program. Thanks Cori.
How would you advise a 70+ guy with pronounced diastasis recti attempting these and other ab exercises?
The posterior pelvic tilt seems to moderate it some. I'm not sure carrying on despite the condition is the way to go.
Can you tell me, what shoes are you wearing, please?
Love this!!
Great stuff
Very nice video!
I can't learn ANYthing from you because I am too mesmerized by your badass arms and shoulders. OMG they are beautiful.
How often should these exercises be done in a week?
Awesome, thank you.👌👍💪✌️💯
Can these be done from the hands instead of the elbows? My elbow skin hurts too much when trying to do exercises that pull on the skin there or put too much pressure on that skin.
Are these DR safe? 🤔
On the website I wish their were coupon codes
I love these! Especially your lower ab plank. I like dynamic planks a lot. What do you say to people who claim that if you're moving it's not a plank?
They can call the moves whatever they want...the key is finding the exercises that our clients need to reach their goals. :-)
Anything where your core is strong (tucking pelvis & tummy button in & back straight) can be a plank therefore moving can still be a plank as your body is in a “plank” stance
How do you know when you are in the correct position while you're alone?
Cori, what if we can't take those mini steps in the plank saw, is there an alternative?
Using sliders.
Using sliders.
I love you, you're the best...in a platonic way I mean
Kori. Please have the feature to examine your oldest videos to present. I have to scroll all the way down to Genesis to see them. Sigh - first world problems haha.
❤️
body saw move kills my shoulders for some reason..all the others are totally fine..
Make sure that even though you're lengthening through them you aren't shrugging.
@@redefiningstrengthOC thank you! I do tend to find myself shrugging a bit and have to reposition myself.
I got distracted by your beautiful arms 🤩
Holy shit this woman is from Dragon Ball Z world
❤️
