    Good stuff, the first few runnings of the shenanigans we had to skull a beer before each rider swap, 3 laps swap and skull again, the conditions deteriorated after a few swaps haha made for a great day

    • @nakitrailrides
      @nakitrailrides  Год назад +1

      We do 5 lap swaps now, still with the beers. Hard core rule is if you fall off you pit and down another and then carry out the rest of your laps

      The sky is the limit with ags mate, they're old school technology so a lot of r n d has been carried out with that layout. There is a tuning book online the same era as that motor, I'll link it below...
      But we've done yz125 expansion chamber, fmf shorty. Both cut and welded to suit the bike.
      bigger carb (dt175 or an old yz80 carb bolts right up, it will need to be jetted to suit the bike and you will need a single cable throttle set up. I have one off a xr150l, cable and all).
      Disconnect oil pump and block up hole in the side of carb, Premix fuel and oil. Less frictional loss through the motor, less weight without the oil tank and you'll know what the motors getting
      Open up airbox so the engine can breathe with the new exhaust.
      Ag200 clutch kit (will bolt up to stock ag clutch casings but with springs it makes the clutch super stiff. I'm my opinion your better off shimming the stock 100 springs. I've used 1 brake line crush washer off a Honda quad under each spring).
      Ag200 front end, the 21 inch front wheel is a game changer in itself. Rolls over shit better (need full front set up. forks, clamps, brakes, wheel). Headset bearings are the same between ag 100 and 200 so that bolts straight up but will need to stop the steering from turning as sharp (fork bolts hit the tank).
      Those are the most simple but noticable mods you can start out with.
      Follow the book linked below and that will give you a good idea of what to do in terms of the engine set up. Things like different gearbox ratios, higher compression, port timing and sizes to name a few things are all very possible
