- In this video im testing my 50cc SCOOTER TOP SPEED. The scooter ill be driving is my 2021 genuine roughhouse sport. This scooter is very quick and it reaches higher speed than most 50cc scooter/mopeds on the market. 50mph is a good top speed for a 50cc scooter. I do about 46mph on mine, and hit a little over 50 if I tuck in...that's on flat ground, in Florida. Wolf RX50, with basic stuff, nothing that costs money except the Harley needle that replaced the crap needle that came stock. 6"1' 180lbs. These little 50cc scoots are fun af! I even ride it to work, at first wa slil embarrassed, but I parked my RAM(13mpg), and now I ride this little scoot(I still get 80+mpg, but was about 109mpg stock). fk Putin and his Oil, bish I ride all week on 1 gallon!!!! :D
You kno it you’ll save a shh tone of money on gas I have a challenger rt I hate driving it when I got my bikes plus I have fun at the same time 😁

That thing is sweet. And it's officially the "last of the 2 strokes"... No other company makes a 2 stroke scooter anymore. Even the new Aprilia's and Vespas are 4 stroke now. They just can't compare. That thing really pulls for stock!

@@BIG50CC eh it's really just about emissions. The 2 strokes in most scooters are very reliable I'd say. You could never get the kind of speed you're getting out of a 4 stroke, even with mods. That's why it's unfortunate. Most 50cc 2 strokes will do 50-60mph but the 4 strokes will struggle to reach 40. Makes me wanna buy one of these before they're gone! I have a 2019 RH sport bought brand new, removed the variator restriction, exhaust restrictor wasn't there, 5g. rollers, 70cc Naraku jug, cone air intake, does a consistent 52-53 on speedo, Florida so no hills, I'm 190#. Pretty happy but might try a better big bore kit, love changing the stock set up, next will be a quality exhaust, the best mod so far was the 5g. rollers engine is always in the torque curve, what a screamer

I have a 21' Wolf Rx-50 and after some slight mods to include a sport carb unrestricted Intake, sport pipe with header, and a race ECI I am averaging around 45mph tops while weighing in at 210 lbs.

Check the speed with your iPhone. Scooters are notoriously optimistic in terms of their stock speedometers (e.g. my 2009 Aprilia Sportcity Cube (250cc)) is off around 20%
You really should drive a yamaha aerox its the best 50cc i have ever drivin it is comfortable really fast and has got a great handling!

Your bike must be deristricted. Likely the dealer did it. Put a gps app in your phone.. The speedometer are typically over by about 5 mph. Love these bikes and thanks for sharing.

You're absolutely right they derestricted mine at the dealer. Speedometer says 50 app says 45 I still think that's great for a stock scooter.
Everyone says that but I don't see what they base it on. gps is actually far less accurate than counting ticks and doing math.

@@jhoughjr1 speedometers on motorcycles and scooters are always 5-10% optimistic, meaning they read a higher speed. It's actually mandated by law for "safety" thinking it will help slow people on motorcycles down. On almost ANY motorcycle if you're doing 50mph on the speedo, you're actually doing 45.
Currently my mbk ovetto have everything stock, and can go up to 43mph, but i will very soon swap it to a 70cc engine and everything that goes with it (carburator, exhaust, clutch, variator etc...) and i could expect to reach a nice 70 mph with all of that

I bought a 2019 Coleman 50cc scooter had about 215 miles on it when I bought it. Tops out around 38 maybe on flat ground in Florida and probably about 45-50 going downhill.
nice my guy but we all gonna want more speed at the end of the day after getting my ktm520 exc i cant go back but anything on 2 wheels is a good time

that mount aint the best but amazon a motorcycle phone mount make sure its a all plastic type not ones with the rubber band material

Yea that’s how it is my guy you really need that 125 that’s why I got into the dual sport dirt bikes but the scooters was cool
So im working on a 18' roughhouse and the one im working on doesnt perfom any thing like that at all. Im not new to two stroke 50s by any means just to rough houses and they are the same minerelli as everything else so i dont get why this one is dog shit slow. The way yours accelerates is totally different. Theres no more restriction on the variator or exhaust flange, its gotta a prima pipe, 7g rollers but i think im gonna try 5.5g dr pulley sliders and finally its main jet is 92. So far as i can get that pipe is just loud for nothing as we literally crawl away at the lowest possible speeds possible

Tire size makes a big difference. My zuma...also minarelli...hit 44 mph with higher profile tires....now that i have lower profile tires it tops out at 40 or so. But i think the roughhouses used to have several restrictions...and in 2020 they stopped equipping them on the bike and would just hand you a bag with the restrictors... Like anyone is going to install those funkills themselves.
So it turns out it was the rollers. when I hit it with the lighter ones she came came alive. I had a top speed of 48ish. There was a slight dead spot in acceleration for a sec but it was brief.
@@billyclifford6106 awesome im glad you tracked it down and many of the minarellis have a ”two step" cvt (I think it was due to the variator angle?) that causes a deadish spot at 20-25mph or so

i was cruising at 40 today on a slight decline but the throttle used to stick wide open so i was about 3/4 but i fixed the throttle issue so top speed run tomorrow

You ever actually do it with a GPS? That scooter top speed bone stock is 42mph, the speedo is off by 8mph. I have the same exact scooter as you, color and everything, except mine is a little faster Lol 😉 if you want to see some cool mods i did such as a ducati led brake light and turn signal tucks hit me up.

@@BIG50CC lol thats actually a good question I have no clue, i broke my phone mount, it was garbage anyway, i need to find something good to hold my phone so I can use my gps again. But to give you an idea, on our speedo gauge after the number 50, ive had the needle passed the H in "MPH" and that wasn't even full throttle, had more to go. If you have the extra cash, get that Yasuni R pipe, maybe some dr. Pulley sliders, get the carb jetted, youll see 50 mph easy with really nice acceleration. Thats with a stock top end. When you are ready to have the front end pull straight up when you crack it off the line, then its bbk time lol

50cc is usually 30 to 35 mph correct me if I'm wrong but I had one that was 50cc it went around 35 mph so I don't know what type of bike this is are you sure you know your bike and are you also sure that it is 50cc my 50cc it went just a little over 30 mph look it up I mean I'm not sure what type of bike it really is then the TaoTao is 50cc and it goes like what it went like 32 mph I think wow bro

Don’t got to mix the oil has a separate tank that you have to fill up but not every time you add gas

Can't be stock. By law a 50 cant go over 32mph unless moded. Meaning the computer will restrict you and the speep restricted in the transmission and smaller jets... that bike had work done for sure or it was illegally moded when you bought it (technically making it stock for you)

Depends on where you are. In my state there is no top speed limit for low powered scooters. Just a max displacement of 50cc.

what is the reason behind that
about 13 northeastern states agreed to go by the california emissions standard , which
basically sets emissions standards higher than the other states.
if you live in the 13 northeastern states ,they might not register any new moto or scooter if it doesnt have
the extra california bonded certification on the mco , sometimes its also stamped C.A.R.B .
approved , other times it may have an extra bonded notary stamp certified from california state.
problem is with 85 percent of the new scooters , because many of them are not
carrying that extra californa certified standard for emmisions.
its mostly if the scooter was bought directly thru online dealers,
if it came with the mco paperwork,
they scrutinize it big time here in the northeast .
