I work as the cleaner at a doctors surgery in England.
To get in and out of my workplace I have to walk through a gang of Cannabis smoking teenage youths. They sit outside the entrance door smoking and drinking. The smell is so bad it floods into the entrance hallway of the doctors surgery .
One night there was about ten of these youths. They are intimidating and heading for destruction.
I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried throwing Holy Water around the area , I’ve planted Miraculous Medals around the area and I pray regularly for their conversions with dedicating decades of the Rosary for them.
So far it doesn’t seem to be working.
You might expect this kind of thing in a big city, but no,
I am talking about a gang of youths sitting outside a ‘Doctors Office’ in a little pretty and sleepy village in the English Countryside.
We are totally in the end times.
Please can anyone who sees this comment pray for me. And please can you pray for the conversions of these youths.
It’s heartbreaking to know they are destroying their lives and they genuinely don’t understand ,
and they genuinely couldn’t care less.
I will include you and them in my prayers.
Brethren, remember that God is not a vending machine. God's priority is to sanctify you in your situation. Some or all of the young men will regret their actions, but all in God's timing.

The great consolation is that Jesus told someone (I forget who) that those who are innocent that die in the chastisement will be given the crown of martyrdom in Heaven. WOW! what a blessing!!
Be careful when it comes what sources of information you allow into your life to influence you. Hippocricy is often hard to spot. For example the number of abortions being done among women who are under the rule of Mr. Putin too is higher in Russia right now than in the west.
I'm broken-hearted because the secular world has infiltrated my family and pulled them away from the Church too. I fear for their souls but place my faith in God's incredible mercy. Viva Cristo Rey!!!

Baptised Catholics (in a state of grace) need fear nothing. So prioritize remaining in a state of grace at all costs.
Unfortunately life isn't that simple. People are still worried about their death being one in a potential nuclear fireball where you witness your loved ones burnt to cinders and exploded. This worry is there even if you're in a state of grace. People are worried about what it would happen to the country after they are gone. People are worried about their friends and loved ones who are not in the church being blown up and sent to hell. Being in a state of grace is the essential thing that's true. But to say that we need not have any fear, it's a nice ideal to strive for I suppose but it's just not accurate it's just not something that most of us are going to be able to do.

I believe that all departed souls, regardless of their faith, will encounter Jesus and will be given the opportunity to repent their sins and accept Him as their saviour, just as I will/do.

I used to be a libertarian naturalist and Deist, thinking that most of our Western morals are pretty self-evident. But no, I have been wrong. I’m 81 my husband is 82 my health is so so hard to walk but my husbands isn’t that good so we have communion every week brought to our house ,I read and pray as often as I can I say the rosary every day it makes me feel good inside . My point is we may not be able to go to church anymore but God , my Lord and savior lives inside us here in this house ,the Lords house ,I was raised by a woman that taught me that God lived inside me that was his house not a building and as long as I kept him alive and wanted inside me no one and nothing could steel him from me and no demon could get in with him that my Lord wouldn’t let them in , I believe she was right my point is …we must pray where ever we are as often as we can that is what will save this planet not any new laws not any new ideas and not “one world anything” only God can save us and our planet God is “Our One World” everything turn to him today he’s waiting for you and me …

God has no problems with a building being a church with an Alter to offer sacrifice. When Jesus invites us, he is wanting us to show up. If it were not for the people going to Mass and bringing communion to you, you would not have communion. When we are handicapped or ill, Jesus knows and we are not under any obligation to go. Congratulations for making it to your 80"s. I have breast cancer and I am 68.. not sure how long I will be here.

Jesus entrusted Himself totally and unequivocally to His mother and St Joseph in every aspect of his formation and protection. Mary gave to the world the Living Bread from Heaven. Father it's a beautiful message, but I refuse to live in fear and apprehension of nuclear holocaust. As a child of the 60s and 70s, I learned long ago that worrying about it does no good. We still have to live our lives whether or not there's a risk of nuclear holocaust or not. I grew up a Protestant during the heat of the cold war and if it wasn't nuclear holocaust, it was the rapture that was going to end life as I knew it. I grew up literally never expecting to see adulthood, have a chance to get married and have a family, or live any kind of a life. I thought we all only had a few years left at most during those times. So, while your warnings are just and right to turn away from sin, I caution strongly against NOT living our lives. We must continue on in the joy of the Lord.
Living one day at a time is doable. Prayers and repentance are sorely needed in all Nations.
Of course living in the present is all we have ! The future belongs only to God! Surrender yourself ,trust in Him and love Him more!

It always warms my heart 💛 to see your comments as I remember that you not only prayed for our beloved Anne who struggled through cancer and sadly passed away in April but also recruited others to pray for her both during her illness and for her dear soul after her passing😭✝️
It still hurts to think about her going away so soon but I'm reminded of GOD'S goodness in the care of total strangers, who are nevertheless spiritual "family members" through the care they show in our times of sorrow and distress.

We’re always in danger, Father. Every night before I fall asleep I repent, in case I don’t wake in the morning.

I started going to confession once a month on the first Saturday of every month last year. It's a great thing to do. You get a lot of grace and protection from it. At a nearby church, confession is at 4:30 pm on Saturday and then I like to stay for the vigil mass at 6 pm. My goal is to receive the Eucharist in a complete state of grace (so I have to be careful from 4:30 pm to 6 pm not to entertain any judging, uncharitable or unkind thoughts etc...) The reason I do this is because I read in a book with an archbishop's imprimatur on it that when you receive the Eucharist in a state of grace, it's possible that Jesus who now resides in you may choose to heal any person you come into contact with or even any person on whom just your shadow may fall. Let me give you another take on this war. When the Soviet Union fell, the US made promises that NATO would not expand the former Russian satellite states. Russia no more wanted Nato at its border then we wanted Russia at our border during the Cuban missile crisis. Please remember the US was willing to go to nuclear war over this issue. Even today we would not tolerate either Mexico or Canada belonging to a military alliance that might not have our best interest at heart. Immediately Nato began to expand membership with the intention of pushing its alliances to the Russian border. Historically Russia has been invaded many time both by the West and the East. their"paranoia" does have historical roots.
Russia warned that such an expansion would lead to conflict.They have always been clear on this. Secondly, the US through the CIA staged a color revolution in the Ukraine that overthrew a pro Russian government and replaced it with the present regime. While the pro Russian regime was corrupt, its replacement was nt no better. This did not bother the west as long this the new regime did its bidding.
Furthermore the Ukraine has a considerable Russian population in language and culture, after all the Ukraine was part of the soviets Union and before that parts belonged to imperial Russia. The new regime, which had considerable backing from the remnants of Ukraine's Neo Nazis who during WWI massacred her Polish CATHOLIC inhabitants and handed over the Jewish population to the death camps, cooperated in the persecution of the Russian minorities in the Ukraine causing them to seek independence. These persecuted Russians appealed to the motherland for help. Again the West did not care about this.
In 2017 the Minsk accords were signed by Russia and the West to put an end to persecution. Angela Merkel the former German PM has publicly admitted that this was just a delaying tactic so the West could arm the Ukraine for Nato''s proxy war.
Behind all of this realpolitik is the fact that Putin has not permitted the economic goals of the West to control Russia's vast resources to occur. Russia had remained economically independent of the West and has prevented Western control of her economic finances and resources. Russia stands in the way of Western secular hegemony as exemplified by Nato and therefore must go. The Russians understand that the West's aggressive attitude towards as exemplified by Nato expansion them is an existential threat to their existence. They do not want to become a Western colony, Unfortunately Western Russo-phobic propaganda is easily believed because of Russia's Soviet past. i understand why it is hard form many to believe that Russia is not expansionist and Putin is just not another communist dictator however much the reality of present day Russia may contradict much of this.
There is another aspect of this rooted in the western cultural wars, which you as a devout priest need to consider. While not perfect Russia culturally and religiously has decided after years of communism to return, however imperfectly, to her Christian Orthodox roots. This has incited the hatred of her stances among the western cultural elites who dominate both Washington and the EU ( let's also be honest large swaths of the Vatican) that gave us the drag queen Eucharistic mockery at the Paris Olympics. Jen Stoltenberg the head of Nato has publicly stated that the regime in Russia must be brought down because it does not support Western values as particularly exemplified by the West's support for LGBTQ rights and values. Let me ask this question? Is part of the West's hatred of Russia being stirred up by the Devil because of Russia's efforts to return to Christianity? We know Satan is a sore loser.
The unthinking support give to Nato's proxy war and the demonization of Russia for doing many of the same things we do in the West is a stunning example of people in glass houses throwing stones. Putin is no angel. Russia is not a perfect society but I dare anyone in the stinking morally corrupt West to say we are superior with a straight face. The tragedy of this is that 400.000 Ukrainian soldiers have died and the country is devastated because WE used them to suit our own ends and have refused to engage in diplomacy to solve our differences. the resent regime was on the verge of singing a diplomatically brokered peace when Boris Johnson of flew in and told them the West said no! what is one to make of that?
