Ford made a hemi head SOHC engine in the 60s that was significantly more powerful than anything Chrysler Corp. produced. All Chrysler did was popularize it in a large displacement V8. As I said before, today's drag racing fuelers are generic builds and do not utilize any Chrysler Hemi components.
