All mattress companies have cut corners. The biggest is truly the top layer. I have an older 2010 Sealy Posturpedic which I'm sleeping on now bc my master tempur pedic is a complete back ache at least after a while. The sealy does eventually start show some back ache but nothing to my tempurpedic which was expensive. In short, they all will fail you so buying high is not a good choice.
This was a really helpful beginners guide to mattresses. Something I think would be very helpful, and I know you guys are mostly latex salesmen, but I would love an in depth guide to polyurethane foam. Stuff like how 1.8pcf polyfoam or higher is high density, maybe 4pcf memory foam or higher as well, how that density relates to quality. What ILD is considered soft with memory foam, compared to the large range in Polyfoam which can be used as anything from a comfort layer to a support. The responsiveness is an aspect that is often overlooked when its one of the most important qualities to how someone will enjoy the feel of their mattress. Would also allow you to point out that latex can be more durable than even the most durable polyurethane foams, typically better at dissipating heat, and provides a nice responsive feel. I think a guide like that would have a decent chance of getting shared a bit more as well.
You guys are very informative, I would love to see a review by you guys on a mattress called the ""Plank", a very firm mattress I've been seeing around for a bit... Thanks guys!!
Thank you! We do videos based on the type of mattresses we receive from our customers. If we come across a plank mattress we will definitely do a video!
Oh man this is wild. Let me ask you whats yall most expensive sleep system? ( especially preaching 100 % latex Lol stop making it seam like your not for profit. They always try to position themselves as the good guys smh pooping on everyone else when they are in buainess too and they will do the same to upsell you and why see how long they stay in business if they only sell the least expensive. Come onn 😂😂😂 they build value like any other hence these videos.
Which fyi upselling is a good thing im all for it. But alot of places do educate you too. And the fact is everyone doing research. But mainly if that bed feel good to you than thata the one! Just grab an adjustable base n you gucci.
We agree with you! If the mattress you found is comfortable for you and you are waking up feeling refreshed then you found a great mattress, whether it's a traditional or a latex mattress. We are just a little bias and prefer natural latex and of course we love using our adjustable base :)
