I love green shadows but unfortunately I'm returning this palette. My experience was that it looked dull and dusty and the gold was just obnoxious. The white glitter topper actually looked white on the eye. Very sad about this one.

I would love to see Dior Beauty demonstrate their palettes a little more on their Instagram. They have stories dedicated to the Backstage line but they don’t show their products being full-on used on the runway or in everyday. Thanks for the demo! This was a much needed tutorial and review. I’m actually glad the greens aren’t so bright. There are plenty of other palettes with brighter shades of green and this is how you do a sophisticated green palette, IMO. 💚
Morgan can make any palette look good! I’m passing on this one. I honestly feel like ColourPop’s The Child palette gives a very similar look for a fraction of the price, more shimmer options, and it’s vegan! I often combine The Child palette with Viseart’s Peridot petit-four palette for even more green variety. And for some indie-green duochrome grungy goodness there’s Fantasy Cosmetica’s Druid palette.
i had the same thought! I ended up picking up The Child palette and An Emerald Away after I saw this Dior palette! I shop cruelty free so I knew I couldn’t get the Dior one but also noticed it wasn’t as green as I thought from first glance.
The only greens I have are from Clinique and also an Indy palette, a very small one. And while I love the greens and how they look with my green eye, I don’t like the formula. Clinique isn’t useable, at least not the greens I have. So maybe these palette would be nice for me to have and I di love the earthy colors too…I am happy with a few colors and also a natural look and think that might be actually perfect for me. Thank you for showing it and it’s so great to know the formula is with it and I won’t be disappointed. Love this look on you.
I love green shadow as a liner because I have fair skin with brown eyes so it just looks soft against my skin and brings out the green tones in my eye color! I want this palette!!! 🎉 We need this as a present!!!! 😂❤🎉
Ok, this is the only Dior pallet I’ve ever wanted. It’s so pretty. I won’t get it, but it’s beautiful. Beautiful look as well. You could’ve left it at the first transition shade and it’d have been awesome
Omg this demonstration is what I needed for Dior. The other RUclipsr didn't have the right make-up techniques and wore those eyeshadow and it ruined everything 😒.
I have several Backstage palettes and I really like them because they don’t have glitter! As a mature woman with eyelids which are very mature 😩 they work well I feel

The second pics for this started to float around Instagram I went in search of this - Dior shadows are some of my all time favorites. Then, I saw a glimpse at pic of an upcoming ND midi pallet so I decided to hold off on this but I’m still really really interested - that said , these do look a little less “office” and more “Christmas party” so not sure I will use it regularly. As you swatched that white topper shade I thought it looked too harsh/bright for this colour story. I think it will look pretty on top of the dark green tho. I’ve been waiting and waiting for a khaki green palette, because I LOVE khaki shades, particularly khaki greens. However, I only like three shades from this palette (Pure gold, Khaki, and Pine green). I just want a khaki palette that’s cool toned, and not filled with yellow golds, warm terracota browns or intense lively greens. For this reason, I didn’t care for Huda’s Khaki Haze palette either. I thought that ABH Nouveau would be a good option, it’s a beautiful palette, but it’s not all khaki and cool toned, and I already own a ton of peachy and shifty shades like the ones in that palette, plus two of the green khaki-ish shades are almost dupes of the two greens in the ND Mini Retro, which I own. So far, the best option I see for khaki and cool toned is Melt Mary Jane (I know that I will get along with that formula, and I saw it in store and swatched it, and it is breathtaking, IMO). Four palettes that I already own and contain some pretty khakis, but are not khaki themed, are ND Mini Retro, ND Safari, Adept Cosmetics Amunet Nü, and ND Mini Glam. I’m definitely not getting this Dior palette and I think that I will add Melt Mary Jane to my collection, to round up my khaki options.

Why vivid green gotta be crazy, lol. I haven't tried Dior's Backstage eye shadows yet. I used to collect their quints. I think I can use my Visert green palette to get a similar look as this palette. Your eye look is cute!
When you were doing the eyelook I was dozing and was like "damn, these colors are so strong i smell w33d" And then I shook out of it and realized that's what i actually smelled from my window lol
Maybe it's just the colors but it looked muddy to me. There didn't seem to be much if any differential between the shades. Like I know you use a lot of colors for the 1st look so maybe that's it. Idk. The look turned out fine not staying it looked bad.
This palette did caught my eye!!! It’s the greens in it. However, I recently purchased oden’s eye and it has greens in it. Not sure if I need both. However, I really enjoy Dior eyeshadows formula.

I have olive skin and olive eyeshadows look very dull on me,most of the times they almost go grey or brownish so I fear this would be a disaster.
