Recorded on a real SC-8850. ® ZUN / 上海アリス幻樂団
Years ago, ZUN's site had a page called "東方幻想的音楽", where MIDI files made for the Roland SC-88Pro could be downloaded for free. Between 1999 and 2001, ZUN posted arrange versions of many PC-98 Touhou Project tracks and arranged the entire Seihou Shuusou Gyoku OST. He also posted the Torte Le Magic OST and 6 tracks known as "ZUN's Strange Works". They only sound as intended on this module.
The PC-98 arrangements include select tracks from 東方靈異伝 ～ The Highly Responsive to Prayers (Touhou 1), 東方封魔録 ～ the Story of Eastern Wonderland (Touhou 2), 東方夢時空 ～ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (Touhou 3), 東方幻想郷 ～ Lotus Land Story (Touhou 4) and 東方怪綺談 ～ Mystic Square (Touhou 5). Please don't call these "remix" or "remastered". These words don't mean what you think they do!

Thank you for downloading this song.
This is "Peaceful Romancer" from Mystic Square.
Since the song was too different, too, I was eventually had it reworked again.
At the end of the day, this song was my last in composing using FM sound. This is actually where I was going to seal my Doujin activities by the mark of this song, but no matter what I do, I could not wash my hands clean (^ ^;
Since it would have been the last, I was enthusiastically working myself for composing a bright and Eastern song, (^^;; but the arrange ended up with a dark feeling of sadness and apathy. (song was not bright after all)
Anyways, this is a finale ending song where Touhou Project itself lowers its curtains, and is quite emotional. Yes, it's true that this song is quite sad that so few people will ever get to hear it since it cannot be heard unless Extra Stage is cleared (^^;
Well then, let us meet again in the next song, shall we? ZUN

あまりにも別の曲になりすぎたので、結局もう一度作り直してしまいました。
なんと言っても、私はこの曲を最後にＦＭ音源で作曲をしていません。 事実上この曲を最後に私の同人活動も封印したつもりだったんですが、足を洗えぬ ものよのう(^^;
当時この曲は、最後だから明るくて軽快で東洋風な曲を創ろう、と意気込んで、結局 明るくならなかった曲ですが(^^; 、アレンジではどこか切なさすら感じてしまう様な 暗めの曲に仕上げました。
とにかく、これは東方Project そのもののエンディング曲の様な物で感慨深いですね。 もっとも、エキストラステージクリアしなければ見れない、という見た人少なそうな なかなか寂しい曲ですが(^^;

博麗霊夢は私の中では角が取れたと思っているから「楽園のpeacefulな巫女」
霧雨魔理沙は堅実だけどロマンチストで嘘つきなイメージもあるから「普通のromancer」

どこか切なさすら感じてしまう曲調良い
神主のセルフアレンジ曲の中でもトップクラスに好き
死んだらこの曲聴けなくなるから頑張って生きます
共通テストの結果微妙すぎて泣きそう
蓬莱伝説や蓬莱幻想にも通じる東アジア風の空想の理想郷めいた雰囲気を感じる
これこそが幻想的な幻想郷
幻想郷は幻想的でないとイヤだ
平和な空想家ー想像力豊かな殺人鬼
やはり紅魔郷を作る前の音楽サークルとしてやっていくつもりだった頃の蓬莱人形初期案ではU.N.オーエンではなくこの曲を入れるつもりだったのではないだろうか？

本当にいい曲なんだけどコントロールチェンジ上書きが起こってるのがおしいなあ
本来ドラムはほぼ真ん中から聞こえるしベース（jazz guitar）は左から聞こえる
直すにはMIDIプレイヤーのポートBの出力先に適当な音源（MSGSとか）を設定するだけでいい
この曲とこの曲のハチプロ版とリーインカーネイションの8850版はこれをしないと演奏が微妙におかしくなる
正しい演奏を聴いてみたい人はニコニコで探すなり「東方幻想的音楽 録音」で検索するとリーインカーネイション以外全部聴ける
リーインカーネイション正常演奏版はたぶん誰も上げてないけどMP3版が実質上位版だからそっち聴けばいいと思う

The sole reason why it didn't end is because they didn't let him register as a music circle at Comicket.
I can't believe this isn't in DiPP, If I ever get a SD-90 I will arrange it to make it sound like it, it just sounds like it would belong there
I'm positive that all DiPP tracks are SC-88 songs, so this version would probably be put on as is
It'd sound much better and fitting there than The Everyday Life of the Flying Shrine Maiden or whatever it's called. DiPP's all good and memorable overall, but I felt like that song was the worst one on it personally :/

@@occultCapra Yeah, I've grown to like it a bit more now. It's just some of the Zunpet sections are uneccesarily high and loud and some of the drums are pretty busy... Both are still phenomenal tracks though

This sounds very Len'en. I wonder if Len'en uses the SC-8850 sounds for it's soundfont, or at least mimicks them.
Most likely used it as a reference.
It's a good thing JynX remixed this theme at some point.
The theme of Len'en is similar with the part of 1:40.

3年前のコメントに返信するのもアレですが、
8850はパチプロの3年後に発売された音源で、音色の最大ボイス数が4に増えたため、高音質になっております。
