What a PITA. I work on AVH motors and can tolerate that. Worked on 24v 2.8 VR6 in a Eurovan ONCE and that was enough. Never worked on a 1.8T or anything from the last 10 years or so. I don’t know how you do it.

are you using a trim removal tool to separate the hose's or is that a another tool ?
Yes, it has a tapered leading edge that can be useful to get between 2 items.
At the beginning of the video I'm pressing it between 2 plastic pieces.
Rather than just pull on the plastic pipe, I'm using the tool to push from the back while I pull.
Sometimes, the pipe pulls out easily... without having to use any tools.
