I say this out of respect for what you've done with the scape, I would take some of the rocks from the unnatural 'stone floor' on the left, just a bit of 'less is more', and the stones you can scatter in between the two islands. I've been scaping myself during quarantine :D mad kudos for the work

Just feeling like crying, and been moping around and then feeling guilty for not being more productive. Anyway, thank goodness there’s always things to do with the aquarium hobby and working on the tanks have been very therapeutic. We all need time to process everything so we can take steps to improve. There is hope.

Hey bro, so i gotta 125, 9 medium silver dollars, two feather fin cats, and now two small oscars. I have two 110 filters on back, a large sponge filter and a stack of sponges on a power head. What would be a better filter system, without doing a sump because the cabinet doors are too narrow for a sump........ I hated the old Fluval 404 or whatever canisters, I feel like these Aquaclear 110s are better, but would be a better filter system if I wanted to upgrade, or am I ok?,.,.,.,

I’ve replaced my entire substrate, upgraded the lights and heater, and have a big box from Aquarium Coop on the way with plants and other goodies. Redoing my tank has been therapeutic while life has been in chaos. Peace to everyone.
I think it looks amazing, so much better. Just my opinion as the furthest thing from a pro-scaper, I might lose a few of the monster rocks in the corner. Wet pets are definitely stress relievers.
I think it’s better to start off the tank the way you did so you can observe their behavior and see how much they rearrange the tank and then make adjustments from there
This is my answer away from all of the Reality. Is my fish tank. When I feel my shoulders get to Heavy, I use that time for my tanks to bring myself mentally and Spiritually. To be Humble again. Really enjoy the Oscar tank.

What do you think about blasting sand? I'm going to have mostly haps and peacock's. I just didnt want to spend $400+ if I didnt have to. In Seattle need one of your shirtslol
Right on! As far as the blasting sand, I’ve never used it. I have heard that it can be sharp, which coo I’ll be an issue for African cichlids since they like to dig with their mouths.
Greeting from malaysia.nice oscar tank u have there.i am kinda puzzle how u can have loaches as oscar tank mates.i tried once but my single 6" albino oscar wipeout all 4 loaches in 4 days.currently my setup 30gal aquarium 1 albino oscar,3 tailless blood parrot,2 plecos and 2 milky white short tail koi.They all r still juvenile.i will get bigger tank later when the time comes.I am planning to get another black tiger oscar,my previous one died cos it refuse to eat even i had him isolated in different tank.Anyway love ur videos.stay strong bro..the world gonna b alright eventually.
I have 3D backgrounds in some of my other tanks. My African cichlid tanks in my living room have backgrounds. I also made videos on how to make DIY backgrounds.

I have recently got 2 baby jaguar cichlids about 2 inches and I we wondering if it is possible to keep peckock cichlid with them
It's a 5 foot tank 2 feet high and almost 2 wide
They could eventually be eaten by the Jaguars. They can easily grow to 16" in length in aquariums, and even bigger in the wild.

It was their larger river rock in the gardening/landscape section. They offer a few colors. About $8-12 per bag.

I would not recommend it. If your 90 gallon tank is 4’ long (122cm), I would suggest just one. If the tank is 5’ long (152cm), a pair may be okay.
