Can’t agree more, I was with QATAR for 5 and a half years, at first I was quite shy and nervous about interacting with strangers(aka everyday passengers), and as time went by, your confidence and interaction skills improved! so for the shy ones out there, don’t be afraid, you will get there too!❤️
Hi Carla! I'll try the open day in a few weeks and I have some concerns...I'm 36 years old looking 23 😂 do you think this is a problem? I heard that they don't hire above 32...The other question is about scars from old piercings. I have 2 scars in my face (lip and eyebrow) from piercing I did when I was younger and I don't wear anymore. What do you think about it? Do I have a chance? Thank you! Your videos are helping me a lot, specially because you are so positive! 🙏😘
Hello carla I am your flowing from Morocco thank you so Much about all the things that you did and still do with us . I am studying nursing that is my 1st year and next year I will become 21 years old an I am going to apply and I speak Arabic,French and English very well . And finally what's the thing that you will advice me by it sister Carla 😍😍😍
Hey Ilyass! Thank you for the kind words! ☺ It's great that you speak 3 languages, and especially Arabic, is a good advantage. You still have time one year to prepare properly, so I advice you to read a little bit about Emirates, watch videos and prepare your CV. Also, if you could get a part time job in Customer Service, that would be great!! That way you will have another advantage when you go for the interview! I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck!! 🍀☺
Hi Carla, best regards. Your English is very clear and i wonder if the interviewers speaks the way you do or quicklier? I'm from Colombia, my English is good but some times is relly dificult for mi understand very well some people who speaks quickly. I really want to be part of Emirates group🥺 Your videos encourage me a lot!!!
Hola Natalia! Muchas gracias por tus palabras amables! Most of the interviewers are not native English speakers either, so they also speak slower and maybe they have some accents. Also, if you feel like they speak too quickly or that you don;t understand them, you can always ask them to repeat, that's perfectly fine! We all come from different parts of the world and speak in a different way, so there is nothing wrong with that. But I wouldn't worry, the recruiters know this as well and they try to speak in a way that everybody can understand them! I hope this helps y buena suerte con tu sueño de ser cabin crew!! 🥰
@@CarlaForeverJetlagged omg thank you so much :))) really appreciate it.i also wondering why there is a ‘6’ or ‘7’ in front of the flight number in the roster
Hey Ikram! I'm sorry to hear you didn't pass, but I'm happy you didn't lose hope and you'll try again! However, you don't have to wait 6 months to apply again. If you change your CV a bit and use a different email address, you can apply again before the 6 moths pass. Good luck!! 🍀☺
Heey! Sorry for the late reply! I believe they are getting a huge amount of applications at the moment, so if the email just said "Bear with us", that means it was not rejected, so I believe you just have to wait a bit longer. I hope this helps and good luck! ☺
Hii. I am really enjoying and loving all the tips and information that you are providing. Very useful!! I have a question. Does Emirates accept we bring pet with us when we move to Dubai?? I have a cat and I am just wondering if will be possible to have her in the apartment with me? Thank you so much.
Hey Luanna! Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the accommodation that you will live in. They have these rules because you will be sharing your apartment with other girls and sometimes other people don't agree to have pets. I hope this helps! 🥰
Hi Carla 👋♥️ I am little bit worried about my birthmark 😢 So what should I do now 🤔🥺 If I want to surgery my birthmark that’s good or not Pls reply me🙏🙏🙏🥺🥺 I am not shy to interact with strangers I have confidence My dream is to be a cabin crew but although problem is for birthmark 😒
Hi! Flying is not for me anymore. I decided to settle down for a bit and have stability and a normal sleeping schedule haha. But this is a personal choice. Some people fall in love with flying, for me it was just an experience that I wanted to have and move on to the next chapter. 😅
Hey! So sorry, I just saw your comment. The English test has the model of the Cambridge test, just a bit easier. You can google the format and see what exactly are they asking for 😊
Hello Carla. After you selected as cabin crew, did Emirates give you a debit card for salary payment or you created a bank account by yourself? Thanks for your answer in advance :*
Hey Metin! So sorry, I just saw your comment! 😔 When you arrive in Dubai they give you some money in cash and your first salary is a check that you can cash out at the bank. Opening a bank account is your responsibility, because you can choose what bank you wanna have your account with ☺️
Hi Carla...I applied on two positions...cabin crew and CSA ....but I finished CSA digital assessment. I was waiting for next step but they sent email to complete my cabin crew application today to send pictures .now I'm confused.i withdrew the cabin crew application and I left CSA application .I'm I wrong??
Hey Esther! There is no right or wrong decision here. IT just depends what do you want to do. As cabin crew you have more responsibilities, you work harder on every flight, but the compensation and benefits are also a bit better. As a CSA your life is easier on board, you don't have so much work to do, but also the benefits are not as good as the cabin crew. So you really just have to think what do you prefer and go for that one. I wish you the best of luck!! 🍀🤗
@@CarlaForeverJetlagged Thanx Carla for my reply...and another question....I'm not that tall.... actually I'm 157 but Is the Emirates so strict on the height especially when I want to be CSA. Because I was staying near Emirates accomodations but I could see some short babes same size as me.
I haven't heard anything about it. But the 21 years old rule is a UAE rule, and not an Emirates one, so maybe that's why it's not mentioned on the website. But I'm pretty sure the rule is still there because in Dubai you are not allowed to work and serve alcohol before 21. I hope this helps! ☺
I applied for emirates cabin crew 2 months ago but the problem is I applied in Uae invite only but i m not staying in uae i stay in qatar is there any chance i get the invitation ?
Hey! So sorry, I just saw your message now. 😔 It doesn’t matter where you apply from, but if you are invited to the Assessment Day then you have to go there, to whatever location you applied for 😊
Hi Shreya! Tutor experience is not really Customer Service, but I always advice anyone who asks me, to try! You have nothing to lose, so if your dream is to be Cabin Crew, just apply and try your luck! Sometimes if they really like you, they hire you even without Customer Service experience. Best of luck!! 🍀☺

Hello carla 👋🏻 can i request you to make a video about how to read roster?for example rest day,can-use reserve,etc..

@@tia7268 that has to do with the aircraft. If it’s 6, that means it will be an Airbus A380. If it’s 7, it will be a Boeing 777 ☺️

Hey! I don't know any apps for Cambridge test lessons, but Duolingo is a good free app to practice your English. :)
I heard that you need to wait 3 month to try again. Is that true?
Yep its true after rejection u can apply again after 3 months . Good luck 🤞
