Thank you for being so honest! I can see you are providing very specific information and examples to help candidates get the job. By far, the best advices I have seen.
Just finished the last interview, I’m very happy I was able to get selected out of the many other exceptional guys. Now I’m just waiting for that golden call🤞🏻
Hello alex Can you please give a feedback on what happened and what have you done so u get selected I'm already a flight attendant with Ryanair but i want to go to emirates open day on 21 february I will appreciate ur help✨️🌹
@@ghizlanben6055 Sure thing my friend, first thing I would say based on my experience is to make sure you look your best, check out the page and look how they suggest us to go, I’m positive when I say I got selected over other guys due to the neatness of my image. Now about the process, (which is very extensive btw, I was there for about 8 hours, so is a good idea to take a snack with you) they presented a very extensive explanation of pretty much everything about the job, followed by that, they asked us to submit our CV and Passport in a website they gave us (so of course make sure to take your phone with internet access) and when we were done they assigned each one of us a number. The first activity was short, they made groups of three and provided us with a card that had a unique occupation and we had 5 minutes to discuss with our teammates about the qualities that a person executing such job should have, then each group will go in front of the conference room and present themselves, they asked us to say our name, to tell a little bit about our experience in hospitality/customer service positions and to explain briefly why we chose the quality we decided was the most appropriate. That’s the first round, they asked us to leave for about 10 minutes while they decided who goes through the first round, after going back in the room, they called the numbers who will remain in the process and those who were no mentioned had to leave. The second activity is a bit more challenging and was the deciding one, this time they separated us in 4 groups of 7 and gave us a card with a unique scenario, but similar in the sense that such scenarios posed a main issue, in our cases it was about an exclusive benefit offered by a hypothetical company that could only be provided to one out of six customers, as a team we had to thoroughly discuss why we would give the benefit to somebody over the others, every member of the team takes part in the presentation (luckily for me, I had the responsibility to speak first so I was able to stand out by presenting the team and reading the scenario to everybody in the room). I can’t stress enough when I say that this is your moment, so full confidence, good tone of voice and make sure to stand out with good choice of words and concise points, you don’t really want to overextend your part, this happened to one guy, he was doing good but he wouldn’t stop talking and that ended up punishing him. They asked us to leave again while they made the decision of those who would go through, I remember I was hopelessly sitting when I heard they started calling numbers but to my surprise I was one of the selected eight, then came the English test, which everyone remaining passed. A photographer came to the room and took pictures of every applicant, very exciting since you feel you made it to the company but there’s a final step, that’s the face to face interview. First they asked us to submit all of our information and then we started to go into the room one by one, the interview is not that tough but I guess it depends on the recruiter, first they asked yes or no questions to verify info and then they made three meaningful ones, first one was: How would you deal with an irate customer, second one was: What has been the kindest thing you’ve done for a customer, and the last one was: Why do you choose to work as a flight attendant with Emirates, I must say I’ve had the opportunity to answer these questions in the past so I managed to perform quite well in the interview. And that concludes the day, my suggestion is for you to arm yourself with a lot of content from the internet and you’ll feel with a lot more confidence, which is absolutely key for the occasion. I’m sorry if I didn’t make sense at parts, English is not my first language, if you’d like to know something I didn’t mention or that wasn’t clear enough please let me know, I’m eager to help whoever I can even at the very minimum.
Somewhere in there I'd add to make a pause, ensure you have the interviewer(s)'s attention, and thank them for their time and effort in allowing you to present yourself as a candidate.

Good afternoon, I wanted to check what scenario-based questions they ask during the open day? Do you know what the recruiters want to see during the group exercises? for example teamwork.
Hola Diego! There is people from all over the world, yes! I never flew with any Venezuelan crew, but I had a friend that is a chef and he's Venezuelan. So even if you don't meet the crew, for sure there will be people from your country in Dubai. ☺
Hey Tina! It wasn't easy, but I also couldn't leave him behind. You just have to research a lot the requirement of the country that you want to bring your dog to. Each country requires different paperwork. Other than that, you need to check with the airline if they allow dogs in the cargo or in the cabin and according to that you need to buy a crate that is airline approved. It really depends a lot on the size of your doggy. It's a hard process but not impossible! If you need any other info, feel free to text me on Instagram :)

it depends on airline, some airlines do care about their crew and emirates is one of them on the other hand i would say most low costs airline has 0 care about fatigue management.
Ms carla maria informative vlog the important thing missing here is how much inteligent and smart are you because flying job wether cabin or cockpit crew you must be smart n intelligent and your decision should be in a second or two. But with your vlog nothing mentioned about this did Emirates give their cabin crew safety training as per aviation regulations. One of the answere of question how can you be better then other is language other then your own mother language. Regarding about yourself instead telling if someone present some activities which prove to be beneficial to someone that will more authentical rather then bragging. Any how good for young who are anxious to work in emirates. Myself i am flying with emirates since 90 now my only attraction is dubai. Hey Abdulla! So sorry, I just saw your comment 😔 I will soon do a video explaining both, but I also talk a bit about it in my video about my interview experience. Go check it out! 🤗
Hey! Thank you so much! Glad I could help a bit! There is no certain number with regards to the interview questions. It really depends on the recruiter. Sometimes you can convince them with only 5 questions, other times they ask more stuff to make sure they get all the info. I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck! 🤗
Please don’t think to apply if you are over 30. I saw from my own eyes few hours back and wasted my all day. Don’t be a servant to people who fly! Matured people can do better job. Just love of aviation this is not the job. People value more this job.
Hi. Good morning my name is surangama das I'm from india..I'm 32 can i apply for emirates..or if anyone more then this age bar can they also apply for this position..will wait for your valuable ans. Thank you
Hi Carla, I have experience in hospitality field but not related to customer service only housekeeping and laundry attendant work for more than 4 years. Would they consider this experience or not? What are your thoughts? Thanks 😊
Hey Ana! Thank you for watching! One of the requirements for Emirates is to have at least 1 year of customer service experience, so I would suggest to get a job in hospitality, just to gain some experience and apply after that. 🤗✨
Hey! There is no weight requirement for Emirates. You just need to be within the limits of a healthy BMI. You can check yours here: www.calculator.net/bmi-calculator.html I hope this helps! Good luck! 🍀
Hey Carla 👋🏻 can I know what are the educational qualification required to be a Cabin Crew. And how do we need to prepare for a Cabin Crew interview , How to present infront of the board...... when does Emirates expecting to release the opportunities 😊💫
Hey Hasna! What Khan said is correct. You need to have a highschool diploma and at least 1 year of customer service experience. As for the interview, I mention all the details in my videos. But if you have specific questions, I will happily answer them. :)
Hi ms. carla thank you for the info. I wanted to know if EK accept applicants with human hair with arms and legs? do i need to to wax it like lower leg part? how about on the arms? since it will be covered while using the uniform? I'll appreciate your respond. Cuz we have open day here in our country. And honestly this is one of biggest concern. and with regards on the face is it okay that you have pimple scars? but i surely covered it of foundation.
I have get the pre screening invitation bit my hieght is 152 cm and i can reach above 170 cm with toe tip i am very scared but i will still give my 100% cause u never know what is next idk if it is right
Hey Natasa! One of the rules is to have a natural look, so if your hair has an “unnatural” colour, it’s not allowed. If it’s red, blonde, brown or black, it’s ok, as long as your roots are not too visible. About the length, you can have your hair down as long as it doesn’t touch your shoulders. So a bob haircut is ok. But if it touches your shoulders, you should try to have at least a pony tail, if a bun is not possible ☺️ I hope this helps! 🤗✨
I’m also trying to apply in Emirates but my passport process are not complete yet can you please make a video for this that we apply for without passport and also make a video if our English language is not flouts can we apply we understanding English
Hey! I will include your question in my next Q&A. For now, I'll reply to your questions here. You can still apply, if your passport is not ready yet. You just have to make sure that you will have it ready by the time you have to go to Dubai. Also, you English should be at least conversational level in order to pass the interview. All the training is in English, so you should be able to understand and communicate with the trainers, and then with the passengers. I hope this helps and good luck! 🤗

Can you please tell me the age limit can i join emirates as a cabin crew at the age of 27
Please don’t think to apply if you are over 30. I saw from my own eyes few hours back and wasted my all day. Don’t be a servant to people who fly! Matured people can do better job. Just love of aviation this is not the job. People value more this job.
Thank you .....❤❤❤
Thank you Bby 🎉

Thank you so much! I had a question, I’ve never worked before .. will that be an issue?
Hey Ana! Thank you for watching!
One of the requirements for Emirates is to have at least 1 year of customer service experience, so I would suggest to get a job in hospitality, just to gain some experience and apply after that. 🤗✨
Hello thank you for the video
Are they strict with face scars ? Do you have crews with acne scars ?
I have tattoos on my arm but the blazer will hide it. Is it still a problem?
What weight should required for Emirates???
Hey! There is no weight requirement for Emirates. You just need to be within the limits of a healthy BMI. You can check yours here: www.calculator.net/bmi-calculator.html
I hope this helps! Good luck! 🍀

Hey Francesca. Yeah, sure! You can leave whenever you want! You just have to reimburse them some money if you leave earlier than 1 year. 😊
Hi ms. carla thank you for the info.
I have get the pre screening invitation bit my hieght is 152 cm and i can reach above 170 cm with toe tip i am very scared but i will still give my 100% cause u never know what is next idk if it is right
Do they have a problem with colourful hair? My hair is the same length as yours and making a bun is almost impossible, since it's fine.
But if it touches your shoulders, you should try to have at least a pony tail, if a bun is not possible ☺️
I hope this helps! 🤗✨
Why did you leave your job as a Cabin crew?
