Seems like everyone has different preferences I'd drink Nulu all day long , maybe Penelope I guess Wild Turkey One had strong bitter note , like if it was aged in small barrel It wasn't pleasant note for me . . . ECTB and Michter's Toasted Barrel taste mild and it's rich enough However , it is not something that I'd drink daily basis
Toasted bourbons tend to be my favorites, with Woodford Reserve Double-Oaked and its sibling, Old Forester 1910 being staples on my shelf. Elijah Craig Toasted is a distant third for me. Of course I’ve never found a bottle of Michter’s toasted anything, and haven’t tried Nulu, Penelope - But now that I know to look for them, I will. I assume the Wild Turkey bottle can’t be found around here.
@@BourbonJudge I picked up a bottle of the Penelope Toasted, and it is very good (a little high on the ABV, but a little splash of water really opens up the flavors).
Judge, wonderful energy. First time watcher here. Thanks for the Nulu recommendation … agree with the rest though don’t think I’ll ever find the wild Turkey
I talk about that Mitch toasted all the time in the discord. Best toasted I’ve had, much higher proof, feels like Xmas when I sip it. Penelope is awesome too for its price point. Nulu is so underrated, so bold and robust. And I have a barrel pick version of that. Great selections
Cheers judge! Just got back from the birds game, one hell of a weekend for some sports here in the city of Brotherly Love! I enjoy a good toasted bourbon and it’s that time of year I guess. But….I have not jumped into the cigar scene, yet. We shall see what happens I guess. Great video, Go Phils!
Yo brotha where about do you hunt bourbon in DE? I’m up north and work in Dover so always looking for a new spot to hunt! Love what your doin man keep on sippin!
Of your lineup, I'll go with Penelope, but I would say that 1910 is close enough to the profile (ish) to be my long-term go-to. Now recency bias would have my vote being for Barrell Vanguard 9 days out of 10.
Just grabbed my first EC Toasted at MSRP. Haven’t opened it yet but will soon. Love the Penelope but for some reason it instantly gives me the hiccups! Anyone else ever have this issue with any whiskey?
Hey buddy. I have a question for you. I purchased a M9chter’s Sourmash from my local M feel like I got ripped off. I purchased the Michter’s toasted sour mash from the same guy and I took a hit on that one too but I realize that that is going to probably double or triple how much I paid for it online right now. Is the regular sour mash a limited release? I’m having trouble finding information about that online… I saw that very bottle at a Spec‘s on my Workout when I stopped by there today and sure enough it was only $49. Thoughts??
Yeah the regular sour mash is about a $50 and is just a standard regular release that is typically always available year round. Some places here and there will mark it up. Hopefully you didn’t pay more than $70-$75 for it. Some stores are shady by marking it up. Sad that they do that.
Sipping Woodford Double Oaked while I watch this one! I like that you made it exclusively "toasted", I respect that distinction.
Thanks Roger - appreciate that.
Daviess County Lightly Toasted from Lux Row. Fantastic.
Penelope Toasted, now that is some great juice, poured a dram Saturday night when the Vols beat Bama!
Yes sir. Go Vols. I know you were super happy. I thought youd be happy- congrats!
My #1 is Penelope toasted series, mine is also 114 proof. My very last place is Basil Hayden toasted.
just cracked my nulu toasted west coast exclusive. WOW! talk about flavor bomb! cheers judge!
Right back at ya
I only have the Nulu, and it’s great. It however, is my least favorite Nulu expression. The Honey Barrel finish is the best
Spot on Judge! Picked up the Penelope toasted today and it doesn’t disappoint.
Quality juice.

Fair points.
Found a Down Home Toasted ! Absolutely fabulous mine is 117 proof reminds me of slightly over done smore dipped in chocolate its really nice
Oh love tjat bottle too
I'm smoking a Casa Cuba Doble tres tonight. Drinking some EC Toasted Barrel.
Nice lineup tonight! Love toasted, some of those I haven’t tried. Great video Judge. Cheers☺️🥃
Gracias
The michters toasted bourbon is top notch. They do it right.
Great list Judge
Thanks Tony!!
Judge I did a flight with all of them a few months ago oddly enough. Minus my Penelope. And the results were amazing
Too cool

Absolutely the hunt goes on.

Have some toasted bourbon with a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It's the best!
Cinn Toast Crunch.. love it..

Thanks Grant - appreciate the sub and watching the video. Cheers
Nice line up, Judge! I was have a little Elijah Craig Toasted when I rolled up on this video! Great job loving all the content!
Thanks judge! I would say blind these anyways and base your judgment (see what I did there? 😉) on flavour alone. For me, One would take it!
Lol
I’m a huge fan of Nulu. I have a toasted bourbon and a toasted rye as well. I like them both but that toasted rye is so damn good!! Cheers
Yes sir it is.

Birds look great!! 6-0 geez!!!! Congrats
Have you tried the new Barrell Vantage? Seemed close to other toasteds I’ve had - and super delicious.
I reviewed it not long ago. Good product
Nulu West Coast batch 2 is money 💰
Yo brotha where about do you hunt bourbon in DE? I’m up north and work in Dover so always looking for a new spot to hunt! Love what your doin man keep on sippin!
Appreciate it thanks my man. DE is ok but the place that gets a lot is south NJ- total wine, etc….
Great selections Judge!

Really- hiccups? Interesting
Judge, great reviews as always. If you ever get a chance, try Bluegrass Distillers, their Toasted Oak is at 100 proof and is fantastic!
Will do - thanks
Judge is that Old Ezra next to you good? I have passed on it multiple times because I’ve never been impressed with their stuff
I really enjoy the Ezra 7. It’s my favorite Ezra Brooks product
I agree. I’ve reviewed two of their products now. Old Ezra 7 is good, but right down the middle of home plate of classic bourbon notes.
Cody I totally agree with Robert and W. Explorer.
Have you had a Distillers Select or the Cask Strength? They are great.
@@TheUMIA I haven’t passed on em many times

1910 for life
Man, Nulu is really on another level
Yes sir
Does Liane make these?
I think etsy.
