I just did the job but instead of putting a new latch in I fixed it by putting a small spring behind the mechanism inside the latch the way another youtube video shows. Could you have gotten the acctuator out by just removing the glass rail and moving it to the side or is there not enough clearance?
Yes you don't have to take the glass out, just take out the 2 silver torx nuts the hold the glass rail and you will have enough clearance.
Do you have the part number of the actuator please ?
I took the glass out but not the rest of the window motor assembly
You dont have to take any of the window parts off
What model of actuator did you use?
is this similar for the back driver side?
