I've always liked how Vorkken is essentially Red if Red had devoted himself to vengeance instead of devoting to bettering himself and other people and teaching kids.
I like how his biggest weakness is that you can take out his allies and he'll still try to use his unite morphs. He doesn't realize how much he needs them, let alone if they're there. It was works great gameplay wise since you can open him up with the sword and attack him directly with the other weapons.
I wanted to mention: *do notice that when Vorkken goes into Teio Form only he is highlighted, unlike when Red goes into Unlimited Form and you can see his teammates behind him. That is just to further underline that Vorkken is alone.*

Okay who downvoted this vid?! Is it you Gimmi?!? Because damn this fight was smooth! Has anyone had a chance to beat Vorkkie’s ass again at the Remastered version of The Wonderful 101? I really hope they make a sequel to this game either in the here and now where Will/Red travels to the future to stop the GGC and for once aid the GEATHJERK or that the sequel will take place 20 years later with Red in Nelson’s shoes, giving orders to the new Wonderful 101 with Luka/Goggle at the head as team leader
Ironically it is not the best idea. Because if you evade his attacks and trigger Witch Time it still won't let you actually do damage to him, because he will most-likely still be ion mid attack animation and he can't be damaged during those.
If there is virtually ANYTHING wrong with fighting Vorkken is that story-wise there is no real reason why you can't deal any damage to him during his attack animations and him only being open for damage in either stun or after attack animations with unblockable Unite Morphs.
The problem with doing that is Chewgi. He is the main problem why you won't be able to just constantly hit Vorkken, he just jumps in and starts spinning and WILL hit you, forcing you back.
knock away his dudes, use wonderliner to build up your gauge, use large morphs, repeat. you deal more damage if you use different morphs per combo, eventually ending up imbuing your morphs with their respective elements.
I. HATE. THIS. BOSS. You know that a boss is bad when the quicktime events are the best thing about it. But to be fair, the quicktime events in this game are pretty good. Oh and the music's cool, but for me, that's no saving grace.
Fair enough. Vorkken is easily one of the most frustrating encounters in the game. I personally really like the boss, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

It's one of the custom blocks called hero time, hero sense was also used here

I find that as long as you can isolate him, you can just spin sword his ass till death
