Your molten strike starter strat was exactly what went through my head as I was figuring out what to do this league. I was going to try it on Chieftain, but my tree basically just did all it could to stretch through Duelist with the only benefit being Chieftain's infinite warcry power and all the maxres shenanigans---much later in progression. The Slayer approach is just so much more convenient for a fast start with Molten Strike. I will definitely be using this. Thanks for sharing this, and good luck this league!
I haven't looked as much into the marauder area yet because the duelist start looks so insane now. I did molten strike chieftain a couple leagues ago and it was pretty solid though

Yeah I'm going FB warden, the damage looks crazy and tinctures look crazy too. Between unbound and tinctures, should give FB the single target boost it needs.
Can Vaal Pact be used in a similiar way as in Lightning Strike, where you get the instant leech on the initial hit and slayer overleech from the projectiles? Would this make sense or be good? Excuse the noob question
Not for swords and axes. It was just claws and wands I think. Also, makes gearing easier and when you do get good crit weapons simply spec into another node. All of Slayers are great so it's all upside
Weapons are just gonna be the 2 highest dps ones you can find. Phys is good but flat ele and pen craft is nice too. High attack speed is essential. Upgrades are just gonna be timeless jewel, watchers eye, cluster jewels and influence items but if I get better tech figured out I will make a vid on it
If I use Vaal Pact I miss all of the good "while leeching" stuff slayer has going on. You can get partial instant leech from masteries though which is better on Slayer.
@@BehindEyesGamingPOE with vaal pact and molten strike you get the instant leech from the melee portion and overleech from the projectile portion of the attack since Vaal Pact says Melee. So effectively you get both.

What about playing as Glad and make use of retaliation skills for more single target?
Since all Weapons have their base-crit improved, isnt "Overwhelm" much weaker now?

Get str from gear, legion jewels or if you need it there is 2 30 str nodes and 1 20 str node literally 1 point away. Not hard to sort out
