This is such a nice comment, thank you. The split screens require a lot of fiddling and do take a long time. As long as I feel like editing, I’ll keep making 24 videos :-)
@@magisterdamask3947 I dunno. I tried POI. I eventually stopped watching because every second episode I found myself thinking “24 did this plot already”, and did it with a character in Jack that I found much more compelling. I didn’t mind the show at all, but to me it felt like “24 lite”.
@@KalEl290 I think the opposite: POI was '24 premium' in many ways. I don't know where you stop watching but POI don't really deal with terrorist plot, it's beyond that. POI went on territory I wish at the time 24 would have go but never did. Each season were better than the previous one, and in that sense, POI writing were better than 24 season 6 to 9. And we find in POI such memorable episodes I never saw in 24, that cable wish to have : you won't find equivalent in 24 in term of writing of masterpieces episodes such as "If-Then-Else" , "The Devil's share" or "Terra Incognita". All the characters were great, as they didn't try to copy Jack Bauer or others 24 characters. Their character inspiration were more based to a realistic batman (mixed to The Wire) than 24.
Very awesome video! Thought season 7 was awesome! Loved the character Renee walker! sucha kick ass character and in my opinion the soulmate for jack! Maybe you could make a tribute video to this amazing character!

Some shows did it a bit better. For example, "Person of Interest" was a successful post-24 show.
