- Greta, a young American woman, takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village and discovers that the family's 8-year-old is a life-sized doll that the parents care for just like a real boy as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20 years ago. When she violates a list of strict rules, her worst nightmare is brought to life by a series of disturbing, inexplicable events and she comes to believe that the doll is alive.

In the original cut Brahms didn’t have a mask or burns. The test audience said he was too hot for him to be scary so they used CGI for the burns and the mask instead of reshooting the scenes

He wasn't all that gross yk🥴😏
@Vladimir Putin it kinda does 😂..
Ong
Yea lmao
The fact that he was brave enough to live in the wall by himself was already bad**
How I wish this story went down is:
The doll was just a set up by the parents, while the parents are the ones who killed the boy, actually. But they hired a nanny to look after a doll, so that she will go insane, and to prove her sanity, she kills the doll, but then the actual boy's body is found by police, so she is found guilty, and the parents will keep living free.
But no, my imagination went way too far....
Interesting..😁👍
That would be impossible. For this plan to work she would need to be driven to insanity and the boy in the walls was the reason for this in the first place as he was the one moving the doll. If the boy is dead, then you'd need somebody else, possibly living in the walls themselves to be orchestrating the movement and the doll and whatnot. Though I agree your idea is much more interesting, with what we actually have in the movie it would be completely impossible lol.
nah, this is so, SO stupid. how would she be found guilty of killing a boy lots of years ago, when she just arrived there? and his body is decayed after all these years? stupid idea
@@alicjaalvena1120 😂😂 DOOD, YOU'RE HILARIOUS. You piss on his idea for your own lack of creativity.
The script could be rearranged, such that the parents only recently kill the boy 2 days ago.
@@yueshijoorya601 lol, you are. your idea still wouldnt wouldnt work. nobody gets schizophrenia from just taking care of a doll. also she wouldnt have motive for kill. not to mention she lives in XXI century, where its possible to get near exact time of death from corpse amongst other things like DNA, fingerprints.

Tbh, I think this was the first time I was rooting for the "antagonist".
I feel bad for him, he actually thinks he could've gotten helped when he was a kid since the "killing" of the little girl happened when he was 8. I partially blamed the parents on this.
what? her skull was crushed. Was that a little accident? No, he was a twisted little kid, who apparently was never taught to face consequences for his actions.
Nah at 8 years old I knew you don't go around killing little girls. He's just a crazy rich boy that should've gotten the 1960s mental asylum treatment smh

Honestly i'd take care of everything the doll needs plus more. I grew up with an aunt who had a collection of what today would consider "creepy dolls", i would always give the dolls baths and play with them (because my aunt's house was pretty isolated and i didnt have anyone to play with). Amazing work on picking up the little details of the movie such as the mouse traps and the need to be incredibly loud.
Another hint was that Ms Heel said that they turned down other babysitters because they weren’t pretty, nor were they young
I remember at summer camp our camp counselor told a story like this. It was about a man who had a Job to baby sit a doll. The man at first didn't think, much of it but started to notice how strange the doll was. It would move around the house often and even change clothes daily. One day the man looks away from the doll and when he looks back, the doll was nowhwere. He then hears the dolls rooms door lock and he runs to it and breaks it down. He then notices a bookshelf is in an odd place and he moves it only to find secret passage ways in the walls and a photo of a boy who went missing, all grown up. Before he knew it someone appeared behind him and he was never seen again.
