A really well made video, excellent close up of your hands so it's easy to see precisely what you are doing. One suggestion. I magnitise my small screwdrivers, makes it easy to handle those tricky screws
I soaked mine in isopropyl alcohol - lens cleaner. I put a few millimetres of the liquid on a small plate and then sat the head in it for a few minutes (or a few hours if it’s really clogged).
Don't forget to clean the cradle on the right. When the printer is off & locked the print head stays over this small tray and that's where the goo stays. No matter how clean your print head is it will sit in the goo when you turn off = recontaminating the head. Finally mine is working again- that was the problem.
Very informative video. I was just ready to toss my printer. I tried cleaning solution and it only partially unblock the clog ports. With this video I was able to thoroughly clean and the option to replace them. Thanks so much
Thank you! Recently ran out of M ink in our WF-2750. It sat for a fortnight before we could replace it. Replaced it, no print. Head clean, no print. Tried in printer cleaning, nothing. Removed print head, soaked and cleaned...working! Was ready to give up and buy a new printer!
WISE TIP -- when removing small screws inside any intricate device like this printer !!! Loosen one screw at a time, grasping head with thumb & forefinger of free hand before it is fully out of its thread. With suitable container handy (before you start), put all small parts & screws etc into it as you remove them. A screw dropped into printer's innards could take you ages to retrieve. To reassemble follow reverse procedure, being careful not to over-tighten screws. 'Finger tight' is usually right.
One question, can you pls tell me that part that you secondly took out that haves the pins and stuff? I wanna know because I have one that is just totally melted like.
Thank you very much for your video. It has enabled me to remove, clean and re-install the printhead on my Epson WF-2750 printer. From not being able to print at all, it is now printing very well. I was hoping that I would not have to replace the printhead because there does not seem to be anywhere in the UK that sells them. Do you know where replacement printheads can be obtained? Thank you.
you can try buying a used printer that uses the same print head (they are really cheap). I bought 1 for $20 .. and managed to reuse the Print head and Waste Ink Tank. Many epson printers use same print head. See if this approach works for you.

Hello. I'm sorry your printer is giving you problems. The error code means something isn't connected properly, there may be interference such as moisture in connection ports, or a printhead is faulty. Please check connection ports.
It seems to me that the printer was not unplugged and shorted when you were working on it. Another reason could be that the printhead was bad and shorted the printer after you reinstalled it. I'm sorry. That happens. Very rare, but does.
I removed the head from two wf2760 the exact way shown. When I put them back in neither would power on either. I have no clue as to what I did wrong but I am consistent because whatever it was I did it twice. I now have two anchors for my boat. One for the bow and one for the stern...
I think I know the why part but the how to fix not so much. After removal I and I suspect many of us tried to clean the head. Patiently soaking is probably good? Forcing fluid through with a syringe is probably bad. It can short out and otherwise damage the print head which blows a fuse on another board that is not friendly to find or replace. So when I found a second printer for ten bucks that powered on but would not print I put my newly cleaned and damaged print head in and killed the second printer thus creating two much needed anchors.
I usually use a syringe with about an inch of aquarium tube to flush the nozzles. For the solution i would use hot water mixed with windex and a little ammonia. That makes a warm solution with solvents to break up dry ink. Make sure to dry it well before install, especially where the wire connects. Blow water out from there with air can.

Another thing can be that the printhead has failed and possible that was the problem with it in the first place. That happens sometime to these printheads where they would just fail inside for some reason.
