Reported to the Clerk of the Course - So what went wrong in my race at Snetterton?

This is part 2 of my recent race review - Snetterton, Trackday Trophy on October 3rd 2021. The safety car came out for one lap and then the race was over all of a sudden. I broke the regulations in how I dealt with it which led to a slapped wrist in the Clerk of the Course's before heading home.

This video is not intended in anyway criticise MSVR, Snetterton or the Clerk/Stewards. The aim of this video is to give my opinion on how the end of the race played out from my perspective, the mitigating circumstances and what lessons can be learned for next time.
I accepted the points raised by the Clerk and it was a very constructive conversation, with concessions given by both sides.
Let me know what you think. Would you have made the same mistakes as me? Was I careless? Or was it an innocent mistake?

Im a bit lost for words (not like me) i watched the race on TSL with live commentary and have to say the whole thing was a complete fook up The live commentators had no idea what was going on and tried to read the race as they see it , it was not the final result they thought it should have been , All i can say is chin up and just smile

I'd have done the same, specifically the safety car turning the lights off as it did. Lack of green flag I didn't notice, I was looking at the same car you were!

That was just wrong. The SC lights went out and pulled into the pits! Of course you would race!

Thanks bud! Kind of you to say. There was definitely some "Lets just go home" thinking going on there, and it wasn't from the drivers eager to get a full race in 😂
