Nice work Frank, looks easy enough. They all look like they work at the same speed too. I am guessing they were all even before you started. I went with tailerons also on my F16 and had to cut the way down on the roll of course.
Hi Frank, Have you got a full video of this F15 flying yet. I'm getting ready to maiden mine in about 3 week and just looking for any info I can get me hands on. Thanks, Joe
Hi, thank you for video, great job! Is that possible to set my ailerons to flaps, and elevator to tailerons only for landing. This is for my f16. Thank you!
Man. Love the look of that F15. Which one do you like more ? The F15 or the L39 from Baja Hobby. Everybody tells me to go for the L39. But found it a bit to big.
Put a 140 in this and it will be light and plenty fast. You can come in fairly slow. You'll start a bit hot at first but then figure out pretty quick that she can slow and also take off in short distances!
Can you turn off gyro channels in flight. Eg. With gear down, slow flight, gyro moves tailerons and ailerons. But with gear up, faster flight, gyro only moves the tailerons
@@russcole5685 Yes you can assign a switch to the tailerons to turn them off in flight. Then your tailerons will become elevators. And roll control will be achieved through ailerons only. This of course assumes the latest Smoothflite16 software. This is how my FlySafeJets F35 is setup. She flies excellently!
@@FlyWithFrank thanks, I'm thinking of keeping the tailerons on all the time. Wanting to turn off spoilers. Affectively ailerons in fast flight. The easiest way would be through mixing in the transmitter, but will the gyro see that. In other words, as you switch between high and low gains, will it also turn off programmed channels. Sorry for asking so much. It's a very clever unit, but very expensive to buy to play with before knowing it'll do what I'm looking for. Short of that, I might get more than one cheap gyro and have them switch on and off as needed through programming. One for the tail, the other for the spoilers
@@FlyWithFrank thanks for taking your time to reply. I might just end up getting two cheaper gyros, switch them on and off as needed through programming
Thank you so much for this awesome, easy to understand and very helpful content!!
Absolutely perfect!!

Hi Frank, Could you show how to do elevons and flaperons using Ethos on the FrSKY directly to the servos without the smoothflite? Thanks
Hi Eoin. Thanks for watching. I'll put one together as soon as I have a chance!

The L-39 is a clear winner. It flies amazing. If you are considering both, that is the one to get hands down
@@FlyWithFrank Thanks a lot
Its a little odd to have this livery on a F-15 though, the Netherlands never flew the F-15, it looks good though C:
Yup. That's correct. It's a fictional scheme for the F15 but like you say it just looks good!!!
Going to buy one this week how dose it fly and landings can u slow it way down i had a skymaster f-15 came in hot

Gyro or no gyro
Are you able to activate/deactivate tailerons using a switch so it's not always active?
For now it's always active. But the new SF16 software allows for a switch to enable and disable using a switch

You can turn off the tailerons and use ailerons only. Not sure if you can turn off ailerons through the SF16...
@@FlyWithFrank in flight, through the gyro?
