Hindus don't worship idols or god instead they worship the deity through idols only after giving it divinity by doing "pran pratista", Hindus accept many ways to realize reality and one of them is to invoke spiritual realization by surrendering ego through deities to become bhrama but there are many other darshans & practices as well . According to English, God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god, everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc see orignal texts instead of films that are full of misinformation

This movie can easily show the religious diversity of Indian society ("societies" may I say). There are zoroastrians, hindus, muslims, christians, jains, sikhs, buddhists and all their sects living here since centuries. For example the self flagellation is done by Shia muslims, the big statue that was being bathed with milk was of lord Mahavira Jain There's also animism which is often mixed with traits of other religions and stuff gets all jumpled when castes, subcastes and subcultures are taken into the picture. I can 100% say not even a well read Indian will be able to understand the country wholly Nice reaction btw :)

There was a huge call for boycotting of Bollywood movies by the Indian audience at that point in time. You can check this up on the internet. That beautiful structure in the background (Time 33:10) is the Red Fort in New Delhi. (Time 43:14) is the Muharram ritual practiced by Shia Muslims. (Time 43:52) is a Hindu Ritual of tying an unbroken length of cotton thread around the trunk of a Banyan Tree, it's a ritual practiced by Women, not men though.

Self-flagellation ( where he whipped himself) is practiced by a sect of Muslims to imitate the suffering of St. Hussain in bleeding and sharing some of his pain or some Catholics also do the same to imitate the suffering of Christ before he was crucified, Rolling in the streets was practiced by Hindus to show their dedication at a chariot festival, bathing in the river also Hindu. The one where he was going just after he went to a catholic church, to perform a hindu ritual, was a Mosque ( a place of worship for Muslims) and Liquor is Haram (bad, not allowed) in Islam and is very strict and taken very seriously, thats why they were so offended when he brought two bottles of wine 😂 The person who dressed as a God that he chased was representing Shiva, a Hindu God, one of the most worshipped or followed by people within Hinduism, and also the strongest. You are also not wrong in calling that baba and his followers a CULT, while they are all Hindus they do not represent Hinduism at all... You could compare it to something like Scientology or even maybe Mormonism (though im not very familiar with Mormonism😅) or maybe some televangelist who are clearly doing it for the money and use Christianity as an excuse to scam the hell out of their members. And lastly, the thing he always chew was Paan (beetel leaf with beetle nut with Slaked lime) which is very popular in India.. It makes your teeth and the whole mouth so red and dirty 😂
Also there is a non stop on going conflict between India and Pakistan since Independence day, not to mention the tension and hatred between Hindus and Muslims still very much prevalent in both Indian and Pakistani.. That's why Jaggu's parents didn't approved of him, and realistically the guy's family will feel the same way as well which is very sad, this will explained how Jaggu firstly reacted when she found out he is from Pakistan. I believed you will catch on while watching the movie. Nevertheless, just in case you didn't understand, now hopefully you do now 😊
The central idea of showing this movie is to tell how an individual who is born into this world is confused about God and religion. Paradoxically, it also shows how there're so many ways to reach God even when God is one for all.
when every single indian movie preaches Pakistan people as terrorist and cheaters, raju hirani had the guts to show the real side of pakistan people and muslims that we are good and united people in P.K which was had a great backlash in india but many people understood it well other than some ridiculous politicians who live on hatred of muslims community. no one can do better than aamir khan to this role.
Hey guys as per your request I wanted to share some of my belief systems here what I learnt from my whole life till now I respect all religions as every religion has its own good and bad stuff. But I believe in one God that is supreme of all who created us and who is the invisible power behind the life of the universe who doesn't have a face or any rules who don't need devotees or any offerings. That supreme power is one God and really this movie does justice to its concept. I love this movie. Thanks for the reaction as I love watching this over and over again with people like you. The actual God lives within you the good positive vibes coming from you is the proof that divine power is within you. As per my religion I am a hindu girl born in a Brahmin Family who grows up celebrating many Hindu festivals. Being born in India is a blessing because we come to know about many religions from childhood and learn many things about them as early as possible. Every state has its own cultural diversity which makes it more interesting to learn different cultural values. And the fun thing is I love all those rituals but simultaneously I am curious about other religions and festivals too. So I visit churches on Christmas and I have been to gurudwara and Jain temples. I love to learn about other religions and stuff just to get good things from them. If you agree with my principal just give a heart below I will understand that I am on the right path.

This movie can easily show the religious diversity of Indian society ("societies" may I say). There are zoroastrians, hindus, muslims, christians, jains, sikhs, buddhists and all their sects living here since centuries. For example the self flagellation is done by Shia muslims, the big statue that was being bathed with milk was of lord Mahavira Jain
There's also animism which is often mixed with traits of other religions and stuff gets all jumpled when castes, subcastes and subcultures are taken into the picture. I can 100% say not even a well read Indian will be able to understand the country wholly
Nice reaction btw :)
According to English, God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god, everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc see orignal texts instead of films that are just manipulative
@@agfhj875 I don't know how your comment was related to my comment but I definitely learned a lot from your insight. Hinduism uses a lot of symbolism and can be understood only through a peaceful and sensible mind. Great information, thankyou :)
@@jacksonwangspapillong4217 thanks I was just sharing , as you have mentioned diversity, whenever you feel so do sometime see symbolism in various other darshans as well, in bhakti Hindus get rid of the arrogance(caused by maya) by surrendering to deities and once one get rid of maya(illusionary world) of senses they get to know about true self as to later on become all inclusive bhrama , but there are many non theistic schools of thoughts in hindu philosophy also like certain approaches of vaisheshika system or even nasadiya sukt..old Indian universities like nalanda ,sharda peth ,Takashila etc were destroyed in centuries of destruction hence certain misinformation is prevelant
@@agfhj875 ok ok wow ngl I'm impressed by your knowledge 😐💯💯💯 and will definitely look into the schools of thought you mentioned here♥️👍
*How divine is invited* : see this magical existence , everyone can become bhrama(god) by reaching to the happy true self as divinity is everywhere but temple creates tools and space where this lively divine is more manifest & expreincable .
Talk about building massive Angkor Wat or carving hall of 100 pillars from single rock for meenakshi temple which generates different sounds , Every corner of temple has sophisticated sculptures and stories to tell. It's unbelievable that for Brihadeswar temple such heavy granite objects were moved at top where there is no nearby granite at all, here during noon no shadow fall on ground.
There are various darshans and deities for different types of individuals ,some don't require diety for concentration but many non focused people require support . To reach this true self or eternal happiness a devotee concentrates & surrenders to diety to remove all falsified identifications . Hymns and mantras as well as temple combines elements in such a way to reverberate positive life energies and create pleasant atmosphere to experience divine .
It looks impossible to carve a temple out of mountain that too with so much precision ,as to make kailas temple there were no space for mistakes for generating output of such unimaginable precision and nobody knows today how and where 400000 tones of rock was removed . With centuries of destruction, loot and attacks , most of the knowledge is lost due to which its even impossible for anyone to think of creating some of these mysterious structures today. A lot of magnificent knowledge is just lost but one mustn't stop trying to seek truth.
Finally! Please do Bajrangi Bhaijaan & Andhadhun next.

The one where he was going just after he went to a catholic church, to perform a hindu ritual, was a Mosque ( a place of worship for Muslims) and Liquor is Haram (bad, not allowed) in Islam and is very strict and taken very seriously, thats why they were so offended when he brought two bottles of wine 😂
The person who dressed as a God that he chased was representing Shiva, a Hindu God, one of the most worshipped or followed by people within Hinduism, and also the strongest.
Elise’s voice is much intense loved it
when every single indian movie preaches Pakistan people as terrorist and cheaters, raju hirani had the guts to show the real side of pakistan people and muslims that we are good and united people in P.K which was had a great backlash in india but many people understood it well other than some ridiculous politicians who live on hatred of muslims community. no one can do better than aamir khan to this role.
