Where do you think the Manhunt Mission location will be?
People have speculated that it will be on Liberty Island since that's where the ANNA servers are located and it was Keeners old hideout.
I have different theory. In the previous season there was a piece of information that I found particularly interesting.
In one of the comms, "Birdy" said that Sokolova was building an underground City to survive a "nuclear winter". I then looked at the final target location for this season and it is in Battery Park.
I thought that perhaps Sokolova may want to get underneath Pathway Park and unearth "Nancy" and use her to build her underground City.
It is a bit of a long shot theory but and interesting thing to think about nevertheless.
My Birthday is April 30 and about to turn 22 tomorrow with Division 2 Year 5 Season 3 Final Manhunt coming out .. am hyped gonna get myself KFC and a new wireless mouse.

I was so much more invested with the story in The Division 1, and I'm not sure why... maybe I just liked it more when everything was still super cryptic and the enemy was just "the government"... oh and Rick Valassi broadcasts of course added a ton of immersion
The initial story, atmosphere, discovering what was going on, trying to rebuild society, finding out about the new factions. It all felt a lot "bigger". Whereas the Division 2 story feels very small/narrow? Not sure if that's a good explanation...
I COMPLETELY forgot tomorrow is the last sub-target and finale for this season. I admittedly am not too excited for this, as I’ve personally been the least excited for this season’s story than I have in a very, very long time. This is simply because I’ve found a lot of stuff relatively underwhelming, and the supposed direction this story is going is not something I’m a big fan of, but I hope I can have my mind changed.
One last thing: I’m not saying I don’t want the final mission to be difficult. Difficulty, when fair, is nice. I really hope it won’t be artificially inflated bs like we’ve seen in a lot of final manhunts (some of the biggest examples being Sparkle and the recruiter’s fight)
I hope yr6 comes with a bigger stash size cos its hard keeping so many pieces for different builds and its gonna get worse when they add new items to collect
They lie just like FO76 about stash size excuses. It's a control thing. They want to keep you grinding for pieces and if you want to try a new build you might have to find pieces you never kept before. FO76 does same thing with weight restrictions in stash.
I wish theyd add like a random season cache every 5 levels past 100 in the pass.
Minus leveling up shd and expertise. I dont feel like im doing anything to trigger that dopeamine

The lore queen did say something along the lines of "wait three months" which mean something big is happening late summer, early fall in Division information world. I don't know what to expect either from the plot twist from part 3 of the manhunt. I don't know the decent coms, but like yourself I do know the crossroads books. I think natalya will do something with the SHD server that will cripple the division temporarily and force the players to use ANNA instead of ISAC which will open up a Destiny style Light and Dark set of skills. Giving a whole new set of skills this far into the life cycle would be (pun) massive.
I think that whatever that they have planned coming next I think it's all leading up to The division III being like an all-out war.
Keener meant that we have bugs and glitches coming with each update.

I assume it will be like the past manhunts: replaying the old activities from the campaign, control points, bounties … and a recycled invaded main mission. But perhaps we are lucky this time.

When you've checked out the PTS, then there was a huge spoiler on either the finale of this season or maybe new content on year 6.
I can't wait for tomorrow. I love the Clancy game's stories (besides Siege).
Man I can't wait for the conclusion of this story. It's gonna be wicked. Something I've always loved about the division is it'd story. I'm hoping Kelso doesn't get killed. And I'm thinking we might end up facing a hunter as there's an extra hunter mask stand where kelso used to be. Could be wrong tho. I admit I'm bummed that the Brooklyn dlc was delayed till January 2025 as this season was supposed to tie straight into it. One if those tho. I'm curious what the next two seasons are gonna be. Exciting times ahead 🙂.
I think the finale does play in to their timings (I really have no idea as all timing happened after I left). I hope to catch you live when playing through the last part.

There was going to be a new type of gear at some point, maybe it’s in that box, just needs Keeners watch to open it. (Or maybe it’s random purple items).
That was originally intended to launch with Seasons 2.0 (which is slated for Year 6 Season 2), but if they bumped that up to Season 1 that would be awesome!!

Saw someone ask why they make whole new division games instead of expanding on the game itself and adding these new places, systems, themes, etc. It would be pretty cool to see it done that way.

As someone who recently go into doing the Descent it is hard to be excited for the game when it crashes consistantly, I have tried everything to stop the crashes, scoured the internet for an answer but to no fix works. The new content will no doubt be interesting for the story but the constant crashes are a pain the ass only managed to get to loop 18 before crashing, I like the challenge I want to go deeper but well bleh. If anyone has any suggestions about anything I might try I appreciate the help in advance!

I just really hope they aren't going to drag out the Kelso Story line for two seasons! because that will get old fast! I reckon they have a new skill locked in that stash case in Keaner Apartment! I have hear rumours of a new skill possibly coming to the end of this season but that is just speculation at the moment!
Hopefully it gives a cliffhanger so we are looking forward to season 6 and not just end it all at once.
My tinfoil hat theory is div 3 wasn't supposed to happen and now they have to have a ton of meetings about figuring out how things will work with heartland and div3

I hope that PVP and the Dark Zone isnt so toxic in the next game. It’s now where almost infinite armor builds with max damage rogues just run around insta killing everyone. Plus with loot being randomized, I never find any of these exotics and cant craft any since I dont have the blueprints. Im around a level 1550~1600 and I cant even fight 99% of agents sjnce their builds are so broken. So I just stick to PVE. Entire servers have banded together to kill one rogue and so many times the rogue solos EVERYONE

As I said in last weeks live streams I think one of the reveals is Heartland will be Div 2 DLC
1. It's been too quiet too long, especially since a few PTS's back most folks said it looked mostly complete.
2. It's downright dumb to compete with yourself even if it's within the same franchise, why take players from Div 2 for a new game, especially a free to play game, the smarter thing would make it very cheap DLC and keep players in the same spot and make a few bucks.
I also have a feeling we are going to see Div 3 2026, March 2026 would be The Division's 10 year anniversary and that would be a terrible thing to let slip by.
The reason I think we'll see Div 3 by then is I think Div 2 is it's template (coding wise) and project resolve was a way of cleaning up the messy template, I think Div 2 will be passed through the new snowdrop engine to be all clean and shiny, the Devs have already shown us they can rework and open up areas via Invaded areas and Manhunts, it would be much easier to just jumble the maps around than create something from scratch, I honestly don't think they can (or will given the fiasco of SW:Outlaws).
Lastly I don't think Div 3 will be anything spectacular creative wise, we'll see some stealth, maybe our toons will be able to kneel or lay completely down and maybe a few other thing but nothing in the WOW department, the game will look better simply because of the new engine and I think the Divs will feel the have "fooled" us enough with that.
I think it will be good for sure but not spectacular, the spectacular part will be it's WONY type DLC.

I don't personally think this game has that to the degree Warframe does, but it inevitably will have some. I'll link you a guide below that will alleviate some of that feeling, but do note that the Devs are working on an Endgame revamp for later this year, and one of its major focuses is to better onboard new/returning players

If they don't do something with the Statue of Liberty as the final boss (or at least make it do something cool) of the climax mission for tomorrow, I'm going to be very disappointed...

The bare minimum for me would be that for the mission to just be doable by anyone, be they a tech/skill-dependant build, tank build, even the reds, anything BUT Puppeteers' climax mission.

I don’t understand what anyone is talking about when it comes to this game lol no one is playing it. I can’t find anybody for any content in matchmaking. The only possible way you can play this game is if you have a very specific group of friends to play with. Outside of that you cannot find anyone in matchmaking when your solo playing.
I wish they would make dark zones PVE and PVP. They did it with survival in division. It would make it easier than 4 players ganging up on solo players.
Yeah, what should we belive...pretty odd. Current team suck at communicating with the fanbase, that's for sure. That's not good. I really don't understand if something worth talking about is coming why they don't even try to hype it up?

This game never will change no matter what content they will release. This game is bad performance and were like that for years. I do not play seasons anymore just for exotics in season track. Seasons are boring, dull and hollow., I do not know why people refuse to see it especially hard core fans. If you playing this game for lore read books much more fun and more lore regarding Division world.
1 bug introduced and I'm out. Massive has done nothing but screw up this game. Delays, bugs, and proven incompetence of this team. They want my money and I won't spend another dollar on a game from massive. All we can expect is disappointment from anything they do. The game was a juggernaut. Emphasis on was. Its now a buggy mess handled by an incompetent team. I swear if I log on and my rock and roll isn't right I'm going on a campaign of hate against everything Massive entertainment. We all should be absolute feed up with this treatment of this game.
