Great pattern, I started tying these for clients on Great Lakes tribs, they work like magic for landlocked steelhead as well. Scott, I'm curious, is the white thread UTC 70? And is the black uni-thread 8/0? I appreciate your contributions to the Spey industry, keep up the good work scott.

Nice fly,would use a silver holographic tinsel in place of the mylar & add a small wire counter wound over the body,tight lines & bent rods.
Is the hook loop already attached to the shank and just not visible in the video?

Cool fly, nice vice. Fucking 30 minutes to tie one fly is not so cool though.
