Thanks Guy for the tour. I haven't been there for a long time except to drive through. The old hoods haven't changed all that much. Just older. I was hoping to see where the old Lakeview projects were. I lived on the east side. I think Covid has finished a lot off. Shame. Wish I could ride with you.
my grandma used to live on lopere street, id love to see a drive by that area and broadway, also wish you would show the street signs as you drive, its been 15 yrs since i been there. Also would love for you to show the beautiful churches
all the houses are boarded up, and all the churches were sold, due to the catholic priests and their fondness for molesting children. the whole area is a drug infested death trap.
I can remember the better times in Buffalo. Then they started closing our factories (Bethlehem Steel for one) and all the other big employers and sending our jobs overseas. What did they think would happen?
I remember when I was a kid the commercials for look for the Union label. There was actually a middle class then. People could afford cars and houses. My father would actually trade his car in for a new one practically every year. I've never even owned a car or a house. Marriages actually lasted back then too. At least most of the time. Deep Sigh! Our family units have fallen apart. So many relatives have moved out of state and lost track of each other. I miss the huge Sunday and Holiday get get-togethers with my relatives on the Westside and extended family. Oh Gee!
I remember when I was a little kid how exciting Connecticut Street was. Candy stores and bowling alley. Little Italian Markets on Niagara St. These actually let you taste the fruit in the olives and such in the big barrels.
Right at 4:15, the intersection of Fargo and School street is my old neighborhood. I miss shopping at that bogdega.
I used to live in the abandoned house to the left of it there used to be kids always at school 18 now I barley see them

I lived on Lopere near Sycamore in a pink and green house many years ago. Used to walk to the Broadway Market.
How about the great parts? The waterfront, Delaware park, museums, universities, or the art scene? I call bias!!!
I feel offended lmao
im sure there are other channels for that too. this is still necessary
I quite like this. People want to see where people live. Every video shouldn't be about wings and the warerfront.
I agree!!!!!
@@clares225 this channels isn't for that just by looking through it you can tell and these parts are great to just in there unique way
