Most dev videos around open source technology technologies assume that most people are using a flavour or some form of Linux OS but in a country like South Africa, Windows is a big deal and the struggles are real to configure Windows to just get basic tools working as a developer.

Have 2 questions.
Why should i use Brew?
What happens if i for example use apt-get install git?
And also Windows has Store that has all programs like vscode.
In your tutorial you used Winget.
Winget and Microsoft Store is the same?
