Ngl I’ve been in audit for 5 years and I still can’t shake the use of just/please/! 🙄 my biggest weakness, I completely agree with you, niceness has got me NOWHERE. Another 10/10 video ❤️❤️❤️
I legit think there’s also an app or extension out there that autocorrects you when you use it 🙄 such a bad habit! Constantly correcting myself lol. Thank you my dear 🧡🧡🧡
I just got a job and I'm so scared I'm gonna be overwhelmed and not have time for other stuff I wanna do and that I'm going to feel like I'm wasting my time even tho I'll be getting money but still
Kudos on getting a job :) I think this is a fear we all have. It’s a case of mindset and having boundaries at work. I’m definitely on my own journey of not letting my job define me and control my life!
I found your channel the day before I had an interview at a big accounting firm and used your google doc on competency based questions for prep. I was offered the job an hour ago!! Thank you so so much, I will defo be watching more :)
Lovely video for a Jr like myself so thank you! I do think please is just basic etiquette and like you said it makes no difference in the response time of the reader. I would say it only to be polite because being assertive is important but mannerisms are important as well!
@@Devamsha it’s so crazy. I’m use to being very comfortable. Always one of the smartest in any room…..not here. 3 weeks and I’m still nervous and feel out of place. Even sounds weird typing this…not me at all…help!!! Lol
I need help. I have a degree collecting dust because no one will give me a chance due to “lack of experience “ but how can i get experience when no one will give me a chance?? It’s becoming so discouraging and disheartening
IMO this is where you try to start something by yourself. Try to get yourself out there, do something impactful, small or big it doesn’t matter but the point is to show initiative. Post on LinkedIn, optimize your page, you will grow and get noticed pretty quickly. Don’t stay passive. Change the mindset
I had to ask one of my good professors instead to get recommended a job and it finally worked this year! Like... idk its kinda sad... and I haven't even graduated college yet...
Hi. Thank you for the video. It's very informative and I know how difficult it is find an internship and jobs. Have you ever heard of a platform and company called Sizigi? Sizigi is the first Career AI to make job hunts easier and it's an internet company. Sizigi is an amazing platform that allows people to demonstrate their skills. People can create cover videos (introduce themselves) Content Library (upload projects and videos demonstrating their skills and work) Pitch Idea (combine cover video, upload another video and select the work from the library to share. Upload resume, Keep track of job applications and share their profile and Pitch Idea Link.
I've got 5 more tips up now! ruclips.net/video/_j3f8O6VdSE/видео.html
I have just been accepted in my first corporate job. Thank you for all these advice ♡
