@@elaeka3685 It is a common practice in story telling. Her closest friend is there, she prolly told aler what's happening inside or aler just know it. We even encounter a lot of this kind of POVs in sumeru archon quests.
@@lyght18 but there's many theories that what we, the players, know are different from what the Traveler knows. We don't know everything about the Traveler (when the Traveler 1st woke up, how the world looked when they woke up, why they were in a rush to leave, etc). And i believe Traveler didn't know about Kayea being from Khaenri'ah (unlike us, we knew). They only figured it out when Dainsleif and Kaeya talked about it. Traveler also doesn't know all the Harbinger's names, only we know (because of the Trailer, of course). Players and the Traveler have different knowledge.

What if Arlecchino also remembers Scaramouche other than the Traveler... if she is somehow a "bug" in Irminsul, then there's a possibility that sudden changes in the database may not affect her directly
Decenders are not effected by irmensul and its change. As Paimon and Nahida didnt remember Scara, but the Traveler - as an Decendent did.
So as mentioned in the short, Arlechino could actually be an Decendent

How small Scara was compared to his coat distracted me so much I didn't even get to think of that in a lore perspective
I also noticed how he didn't bother to cover himself up completely with the coat. Considering he's a puppet he doesn't feel the cold in Snezhnaya from a little to no extent, unlike other harbingers like Signora.

2. Otherwise, it's possible Arlecchino is not affected by the changes in Irminsul.

I figured it was just like watching a new anime with no context, and we're just watching her life from the beginning not a POV. That's why it didn't strike me as odd to see Scaramouche with Signora and the others. It's not a flashback or a memory, it's literally just Hoyo saying "hey this is how it happened btw, now you're caught up!"
I am convinced she is an outworlder, but not a descender. Since the traveller, who is a descender, has angel imagery, that would explain why she has that fallen one-winged angel motif. Like she is also from another world, but she failed to become capable of rivaling an entire world

While we’re obvs not cursed, the descender before died and we can’t find our sibling, are ALWAYS caught up in crap we never wanted to be dragged into and ig even irminsal not changing our minds could be considered “cursed” by others view
I think the traveler is indeed cursed, i don't remember when this is said in the main story but i think we are told that the travelers lose their "true light powers" or something and also the ability to travel through other worlds

Plot twist: The Arlecchino animation was made way back before Sumeru's storyline was written, and they forgot to remove him
For clarification, Irminsul doesn’t actually change history, simply people’s memories of what happened. It’s explained by Nicole at the end of the 3.3 interlude quest that it doesn’t actually tamper with history, and that only few have the capability to do so (an example being Istaroth in Ei’s second story quest.) So Scara being there does make sense. As for why he was chosen over any other harbinger, I’m guessing it’s because they wanted to show his winter coat, since we had never seen it.
Alternatively though…Dottore has at least some level of an ability to circumvent Irminsul, as he proclaims that the knowledge he shares with Nahida is hidden by it. I’ve also always found it weird how the No. 6 seat is just…empty after Scara’s erasure, because you’d kind of assume that if no one remembered him, people would just call them “The Ten Fatui Harbingers” and Sandrone would be treated as if she was always No. 6, Signora as if she was always No. 7, so on and so forth. So…I do have to wonder if maybe the harbingers (at least the higher ranking ones since Childe doesn’t seem to remember him) do actually remember Scara through some method of Irminsul circumvention, but only time will tell.

His existence wasn't removed from reality, just from people's memories and books and stuff. All the stuff he did, still happened, it's just no one knows anymore who did that cause people can't remember his existence although he still exists. And I feel like the video is also more from an audience pov and not necessarily arlecchino's pov

There's a high possibility that Aler remembers Scara. There are still lots to uncover. But one thing is for sure, the harbingers are no joke and not to mess with. They collect the most valuable information about Teyvat, so there's no doubt that one of their members is immune to Irminsul.

Thats story is literally a past before scara delete himself from the irminsul.
but the thing is that, when he deleted himself from irminsul, he altered every single person from teyvat's memories, meaning that if someone were to reflect on their past after said deletion (as the animation is theorized to be arlecchinos life flashing before her eyes) and their past included scaramouche somehow, he wouldn't be there in their perspective, same with rukkhadevata, people from sumeru now think nahida was always their archon so their memories were altered to make them believe history went down in a different way (ex. instead of knowing that nahida was locked up by the akademiya due to being deemed useless as rukkhadevata's reincarnation?? i think??, they now think she was locked up because she used all her power in the cataclysm i think i dont remember exactly and was now weak)

Either that or it was mentioned in the notes left in the Book of Revelation by the sunflowers after the quest. That could be a good place to look, especially considering that it's a really easy quest to miss!

It wasn't her memory.
However, if it was the case then it still would be factual. How irminsul works is when erasing a presence from the world, it would be the name. That's it. The figure and what they look like would be remembered (to an extent depending on how long ago). For further proof of this, after Scara erased himself from Irminsul, we were to go back to Inazuma for a short side quest. It was here where they remembered a figure. But not a name.

However, we have already seen the consequences of Scara deleting himself from Irminsul, so why would they go out of their way to show a memory before that event?
Cause maybe that's not a memory just a way the storyteller telling us what transpired at that time
Who's Scaramouche?
If you look at the new post about her, you can see a wheel that has multiple symbols, each symbol represents a harbinger, and, there was one for wanderer.
I have two issue with this theory is that there are only 4 know descenders, and the second is that she has a vision
The descender is the primordial one, and the fourth is the traveller, and the third descender being dead and turned in Gnosis doesn't leave much room for Father
Maybe she could be a descendant of a descender and iruminsul is having issues computing her seemingly missing a family member from her family tree

I think the only way to settle the debate regarding whether or not this short was based on Peruere's memories or not, is if she mentions Scara in her voice lines.

Descender's memories are not affected by re-written history of the Irminsul tree. We're seeing A'cino's memories.

Great Singularities always impact both the storyline and the players. We had Elysia sacrificing herself to give a chance for upcoming Herscherrs hold on to the bits of humanity they have left and fight back. Very excited to see how descenders impact the story and what her and the fatui's role in it

Peruere does mean something, although it’s a loose transition- it’s “to succeed” in Latin, but I’ve also heard “to perish.”
I mean Arlecchino became a harbinger BEFORE scaramouche wiped himself from the tree, since this is her past. So it didn’t really happen until AFTER Arlecchino is like an adult.

I’ve been wondering for a while if Arlecchino would have voice lines about Scaramouche, and her being an error who remembers him would be such a cool way to implement them.

I mean we know from the interlude removing someone's existence from irminsul is not possible for someone ordinary. So, instead of removing existence, irminsul wiped scara's memories from everyone. So, the events happened, the crimes he did, happened, the people didn't just remember who did it, thus the vase in the sumeru room at the end of quest.
TLDR: Nope, scara's existence was not wiped from irminsul but instead his memories were wiped
It mean its pretty obvious something is up because her idle animations include one of her glitching. Not, becoming spectral like a ghost or demon unable to control their form, but very much made to have he appearance of a digital "glitch"
Which makes sense by Piero mentioning that Rosaline aka LA Signora will be awoken in the new world

I have a feeling that this was less of a recollection of memories and more so just a look into her past, so Scara is there because we remember him.
