I have one of them and I did some tests with it and comparison with my TS-100 using the same size and type of tip and found the middle setting is about 350c, and at that setting you can barely see hte element glowing at all
I just bought one of these branded 'Valex' at my local supermarket. While the burner works fine I had great difficulty getting the soldering attachment to work. I light the flame as seen in the video @2:38 but it just stays forever with the flame outside and never become red hot on the inside. For some reason the video skips that crucial part and makes me wonder how long it took. I waited more than five minutes in vain thinking it would run out of gas before lighting up properly. The only way I could eventually get it to work was to heat up the bit with another gas torch until it was almost red hot and only then did I get the burning inside the bit as shown at 2:43. At 4:31 he lights it again and this time with no cut in the video, but I think it was already hot and that's why it worked. For me it is the same, if I light it when it is still hot it works but next day when I try to use it again it will not work and I have to heat it with another burner again. Can someone who has one of these, or perhaps even @Creative Useful tell me what happens between the cut at @2:42, and how long it really takes?

I think you better just buy another one. I had one with such a problem and fixed it by replacing a rubber o-ring. It worked but after a few days it almost hurt me when I was using it and something went wrong and all the gas came out at once making a ball of fire.
Wisnu Pamungkas if you use good butane it will last for years get the premium stuff. Its a good little tool for $3 I recommend it, but its no replacement for a plug in soldering iron. This is for quick repairs like soldering a couple wires your not going to do what this person does in this video. Also the first way they use the torch is completely wrong, your going to damage your electronic components :( that should be used for heating of metal parts before solder or braze of most probably jewlery or art m but i would not point that at an electronic component. Also this video fails to show how the fillament is light in the soldering iron. Ive been using a cigar torch but i dont read chinease so im thinking there’s probably a smarter way.

this iron is worthless in heavy circuit. but it is a one of the BEST hand tool.

my hold got blocked after 2 minutes of using it. but i think im missing something. maybe i tightend up a valve i shouldnt have
found solution, had to take the lower metal bit off, when i blow it in the spare (aluminium head) popped out, it was somehow blocking the flow
