A series deserving of an award. Extremely well done, Erik and Dana. Hits the mark completely.

I’ve seen what he’s talking about in the Ben Hogan five lesson book about the feet alignment and had no idea what he was talking about until now. Watched this video and it all makes sense, thanks EAL!

Such a great series, well done guys! That coach is amazing, making the D-Plane explanations and adjustments really simple! Next series quest for scratch! 👍

Awesome series. I also switched up my drive to the same position recently theough trial and error. So cool to see your coach tell you exactly what I’m tinkering with.

This man said "basically your playing a pull." And I had a Jimmy Newtron-esk brain blast moment and immediately left to go to the driving range.

I've taken what Dana has said and knocked 0.6 off my handicap this week 👍

I honestly can’t tell if this is a joke comment
I really hope it is, because seriously adjusting your handicap by that little after one week of golf is ridiculous. A handicap doesn’t guarantee what you will shoot every single round. Some rounds are better than average.
Unless you played two rounds per day all week

So he said to move the back foot a few inches back with the driver setup to accommodate for hitting up on the ball, but that the higher your swing speed the less you need to hit up on it?

    Erick,
Come to AZ I’ll take you to three desert courses you’ll never forget in your life. Silver Leaf, Whisper Rock(you’ll probably not want to leave here), The golf club of Scottsdale. If you have time after that short distance away is home to a million tour players called DESERT MOUNTAIN which has I think 5-6 courses and they’re insane difficult if you break 80 you’re winning your muni championship any day of the week

Are the Hips clearing faster on the pitching wedge and giving more speed?

Ball way forward.. I'd be afraid to pull the crap out of it since the swing is going left. Club face square to that line and I'm in the left woods.. so difficult to line everything up isn't it..

I wonder about whether or not PGA players will start decreasing their driver loft lower than what they have now to enable them to start hitting up on the ball. The guys at TGX showed that to increase distance by a decent amount from what I remember

    Why the driver change? Loft?

What is meant by the comment “no divots for old men”? Because us older guys don’t have as much swing speed, we should be more shallow?

    • @joshbrown1567
      @joshbrown1567 4 года назад

      It's a pop culture reference: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Country_for_Old_Men_(film)
You can keep taking divots ;)

You can look up virtually anyone's HC on the USGA/GHIN app. Just put in their last name and the state you assume their home course is in. I got EAL coming in at a 5.8 this morning.
