My entire house is Manchester tan and I love it. It’s like a beautiful beach sand.
Mixed together two Ben Moores paints Cranberry and Georgian Brick...love it but I am looking for a warm white for opposite hall and staircase that has dark wood baseboards and lots of gold framed art work...I think this sounds good..What do you think? Love you format right to the point and loaded with good info!
I am obsessed with Manchester Tan. There’s a rich creamy and elegant look to it. It’s the color in my family room, kitchen, and guest room. BM creamy white in my living room dining room so a similar creaminess. I have an open floor plan with double doors into my master which is visible from the hallway and I’m struggling with whether to continue the flow of MT or use a subtle color. In my old house I had Healing Aloe which is gorgeous but my furniture is a red/orange mahogany and I was never sure that was the way to go. I like Vapor trails but now I’m thinking of just sticking with MT.
Painted many rooms in our home Manchester tan, aura, and love it! I don’t see pink, orange or green undertones which so many neutrals have. Pairs well with travertine tile.
Thank you for sharing:) Manchester Tan is beautiful in so many different applications. I'm happy for you guys:)
Because of this video, I bought Manchester tan for my living room and dinning room and I am in love with this color. Sherwin Williams is closer to my home than Benjamin Moore, so I asked a representative in Sherwin Williams to mix the paint for me, and she did. Looooove this color. Very elegant.
Awesomeness:) I'm happy for you and thank you for sharing:)
I know im randomly asking but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account?
I was dumb forgot the login password. I love any tips you can offer me
@Merrick Cody instablaster ;)
@Felipe Clayton I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out atm.
Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Felipe Clayton It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
Thanks for the informative video on Manchester Tan. I am thinking of painting my whole house with Manchester Tan. The regular Manchester Tan is a bit lighter for me. What would happen if I make it 25% or 50% darker? Also like you mentioned I compared it with my Brazilian Chestnut flooring and off white/pale gray furniture and dark wood. And I think it goes well.
May I suggest using some updated fabrics to compare, such as cognac, emerald green, navy and charcoal?
I used Benjamin Moore Manchester tan for my Tuscan decorated living room. Thank you so much for your help. Trying to figure out what to do with my brown (faux wood look) fireplace. Do I paint it Manchester tan as well? Friends are telling me to paint the fireplace white but I think that will be too stark for the room. What would you recommend?
Also, I'm wanting to add some accent colors in my living room. What colors look best with Manchester Tan?
Do you have any videos about bright North facing rooms with lots of windows and molding?
I have red brick [not pink] chimneys, red toned roof and have ordered new windows with 'country red' trim to the exterior and a full glass front door with 5 inches of deep teal exterior trim all around the edge. Presently, I have a LOT [2 stories] of white vinyl siding and am looking for a good colour to paint it. I thought Manchester Tan might do it, but if it has those green undertones, maybe I should think again, as the main colour should probably go with the red brick and deep brown-red of the windows..am I right? Suggestions?
So Jacob, we have decided now that all the trim will be Chantilly Lace, the walls will be either ballet white or manchester tan. What's your opinion please?
Manchester tan for my foyer and canvas tan for the trim .What is your opinion ?
I have a a landlocked LR with bricky rust and brown furnture and dark cherry hardwwod floors and light cream molding-----what are te best whir paints??? Thank you!!!
I painted my walls Manchester tan but they look yellow? We are remodeling a room so it has no furniture. Would you know why? I did watch the video and saw it has a yellow undertone but my walls look way more yellow than they should
I just painted my bathroom in Manchester Tan with the hopes of having blue as an accent color. Would you recommend that?
Almond latte ,,,please do a program on...I love your series..
Thank you for the kind words:) I will add Almond Latte to the list.
Does Manchester Tan look well with blue. Such as a blue. Sofa?
Great video! I have Sail Cloth trim and was wondering if Manchester Tan goes well for the walls. Also thinking about Edgecomb Gray for the walls. Any thoughts or recommendations?
Would be very interested to know what beige would go well with a beige rug with pink undertones?
Cream beige and some green beiges.
I am going to be painting my large living room that is slightly dark............. I have a medium brown carpet............. I am so anxious to see how it turns out wish me luck wish I could post a picture of my living room now painted light sage green
I'm rooting for you, Kathy! Let me know how it turns out for you.
Would Manchester tan be okay with gold toned furniture?
I would love for you to review Muslin.
I will add Muslin to the list:)
I had muslin in my master bed and bath for years. Beautiful color!
Would Manchester Tan go with natural maple cabinets in the kitchen, dark green tile backsplash?
So I painted several rooms in Manchester Tan and got to my south facing dining room that was originally painted a soft yellow. Without primer, it turned gray/green immediately and I didn't care for it. Even with 2 coats, you could just feel the yellow peaking through. I put a coat of primer down and it corrected the color, though still read more gray to me than I had hoped. But it still looks beautiful.
Hi, I don’t have a Benjamin Store near me. Can you recommend a Sherman Williams or Behr paint color equivalent to Manchester Tan? The color palette will be the same colors in your video. Love your videos
Hi there:) Thank you for the kind words. You might want to try SW Canvas Tan
behr will make manchester tan for you if you just ask. get the marquee series
Would Manchester tan go with chapparal oak flooring? It is a light vinyl floor.
Hard to say without a visual of your space but yes it can.
So I have light beige carpet, and dark wood floors, Am I correct that Manchester tan is out for me?
Hard to say without any visual pictures of your space but from a text standpoint, I don't see any issues not using Manchester Tan in your space.
Would Manchester tan go with a bright yellowish maple floor and fruitwood stained oak trim? I have a good amount of natural light, south west facing.
I tried an opposite color on my walls, SW Shittake. It’s an interesting color, but I feel that I made a “costly mistake” as the color shifts a great deal. I thought the contrast with the maple floors was nice, but the warmth isn’t there. I’ll try a Manchester tan sample. ☹️
ThePeaches77 thank you so much. I really appreciate your help. I’m saddened and frustrated by my choice. This is the first time that this has happened to me.
It’s these bright maple floors that throw everything off. The yellow of the maple brings out the violet blue and even pink out of the shiitake.
Ugh!!! The color I covered was SW latte, I just wanted something a bit brighter and lighter. Tomorrow I’ll go get a sample of the BM Manchester tan. I feel pretty bad that I messed up with a $2600 job. If I shoes you pics, you would see. I could I be so far off. Thank you again. I’ll let you know how it goes.
ThePeaches77 good day. I tried the Manchester tan in my space I made an 8 x 10 sample and put it in different locations throughout the day. It’s a wonderful color, however the very slight green undertone took center stage. I feel that I either need to find a gray without blue or red, or go with something that has an orange yellow undertone.
If the MT from BM, did not have the green, it would be great. Perhaps I need to go with a richer color tan? Any other suggestions?
I’m still going to stare at MT for a few more days.
ThePeaches77 I’m not giving up on Manchester tan yet. I think trying the lighter version is worth a try. I’m not into most grays. I love the idea of 💡 light. Manchester tan is a very nice color. I’m convinced that my buttery maple floors are the culprit. I’ll check back in later.
@ThePeaches77 This is so helpful. Thank you! We are considering Manchester Tan and also have yellow toned hardwood floors (& some redish rugs) and in the summer our house is like a tree house with all the beautiful greenery so I am concerned about the undertones. It looks like a beautiful color so hopefully it will work!
What do you think of Manchester Tan or would you like to share any experiences you’ve had painting a beige paint color in your home?
Haven't sampled Manchester Tan yet, but many years ago.....I tried Kilim Beige in an east-facing room & it looked peach or pink flesh-toned. (Was told it was the "MOST NEUTRAL" beige...would look wonderful in ANY room? lol)-- I also think u r right about beige making a comeback. Great videos!
@@CS-ki5uf thank you for the kind words! There is no such thing as most neutral beige as you well know now:) It's about pairing the correct interior paint colors with both your fixed and furnished items that you have in your home. When you can achieve the perfect pairing of paint colors for your home it will transform your home instantly. Btw, Kilim Beige has pink undertones and there are a lot of colors that don't get along with Kilim Beige.
@@JacobOwensDesigns just saw that u did a review on that color too! ...busy guy lol
@@CS-ki5uf so many colors to talk about and I'm just getting started 😊
I recently painted my kitchen, dining and a bathroom with Soft Fawn SW, all look green to me, which I don't like. I did the painted poster board sample, and stressed for days before painting. These rooms are upstairs with lots of natural light coming in. I also painted a bedroom downstairs with the same color, and it's beautiful, looks totally different.
I would love to know what white you would use for the ceiling and trim with Manchester Tan.
Hi Tracy, I rarely if ever pick a trim and ceiling color based on a wall paint color. I pick the trim and ceiling color based on the interior décor, fixed elements and the kitchen is another area to pay close attention to before deciding what the right trim and ceiling color should be for your home.
Cloud White would pair well; you don't want too stark/bright of a white...
This dude is in the right business!
Are there other colors like Manchester Tan that go well with cherry furniture? Thanks!
He hardly ever will answer questions.
Just revisited your review on Manchester Tan. I think the word "tan" in it is scaring me. Do u think it is misnamed perhaps? Maybe should have been called Manchester Beige? I just bought new bedding for the guest room with muted coastal blues/greens/cream. Just worried about making the room look dated & not relaxing.
Hi Ciera, never pick a paint color based on the name. Many paint color names don't reflect the paint color. Manchester Tan can work with blue.
@@JacobOwensDesigns Absolutely! can also vary by brand. ____A friend of mine loved the "Sea Salt" paint color she saw online...went & had a gallon mixed at local big box store. Came home & it was the wrong Sea Salt! Evidently Benjamin Moore & Sherwin Williams BOTH make one & they are not the same!
@@CS-ki5uf yes that is true:) I've worked with both of those paint colors many times. Sometime in the future, I will talk about the other Sea Salt by Benjamin Moore.
Anyone like Yosemite Sand?
U dont know
Paper or plastic? Manchester Tan. Burger or healthy? Manchester Tan. Public or private? Manchester Tan.
