During the covid pandemic (2 1/2 years) I was in a province in the Philippines. While there we built over 25 C.R's (toilets) and built and repaired many homes and distributed food and other essential items thanks to this youtube channel and the subscribers. That fermented fish noodle soup is called Bun Mam . Its smell is so strong that myself can't eat it. That black duck egg is actually originating from China , called Hundred Year Preserved Egg . This D4 street food market has mostly local Southern/Mekong Delta food and the Ho Thi Ky flower market has food from all the regions of Vietnam and also from some other Asian countries like Japan , Korea , China, Thai , Cambodia , etc... D4 used to be a very dangerous area in SGN , a gangster and criminal haunt .

Interesting street food, I couldn't eat fermented fish-the smell would make me gag! Lol. I couldn't eat Balut or the quail balut....just the thought of it, yuk. I love eggs though. They were a lovely couple, so nice of them to meet up with you. Some of the food is similar to the Philliines, they eat every part of the animal, no waste at all. Imagine losing your bike/scooter in that car park it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack! Thanks Dustin, another great video!

We also have Vietnamese resto here in California. They are cheaper compare to Korean and Chinese. It's taste good.

While the food is interesting.. I found the lights over the bridge and the reflections from the water to be the best shot in the vlog... I would have stopped for some pictures to memorialize the evening.
You’re right my favorite part of driving is always by the water, bridge or along the river or ocean

Dustin 🧡, that fish soup with the shrimps looks really yummy! 🍜 And the crispy chicken skin, but not for me!! No brain soup as well!! Ha ha I like the one with the sliced green mango! Century egg taste ok but not a favorite. And of course, no balut!!! 😂😂😂

On this episode of the Philippines: Dustin and his hunnie bunnie are starting their 24th day in my home country trying new foods i see :P They met up an old student from the Philippines while they were waiting for food :P (Regarding to the buffalo wing question Dustin they do have them but in other districts :P) Later on Dustin try this vietnamese soup in one restaurant :P He really likes it because it fills him up xD But of course it has seafood so i can't have it :P They were listening to the Nam mo ai di a phat (That song drove me cuckoo yup...cuckoo over and over again..) Dustin seems excited to try new foods in my home country xD he loves it :P But they had a good dinner :P

I can see you are getting good at offensive driving , it seemed like you were in a more local native type eatery not so much catering to tourist , that is why the foods seemed more exotic, I like Vietnam best of all the countries I’ve watched , but I don’t like the traffic, tie a red bandana on your bike to make it easy to spot
That’s a good idea with the bandana, yes I agree so much traffic, but the food is so good, right up there with Thailand.

Very typical street food, not a exotic one. And mandarin is a kind of citrus fruit just like orange

Drink driving is not the smartest thing to do, especially when in a foreign country. Do you have a license to ride in Vietnam?
You’re right you definitely shouldn’t be drunk while driving anywhere especially a foreign country. Lots of food and walking helps and waiting to drive.. yes I do have an international driving permit. Thanks for watching I appreciate it
@@DustinBackpacks Is your IDP rated for the class of vehicle you're driving (e.g. motorcycle in this case). If you're from the US, Canada, Australia...it's technically not legal to drive there due those countries not signing the 1968 Vienna Convention.
