I was involved with a local community theater production of "PIPPIN"...tech week was over...months of rehearsals over...sets were built, costumes were finished...tickets were sold...and we were 48 hours from " PLACES/CURTAIN " when COVID shut the world down...and we were done...It was going to be an AWESOME production....and we DID have MAGIC to do....but could not. Thank you for this song...it helps heal the heart..
OHMYGOODNESS!!! This is wonderful!! I brought tears to my eyes! And, the memory of SRT, 2017 when I was an Equity guest artist. The young people that year were equally talented and skillful! What a pleasure they were with whom to work! THANK YOU for this! It is soooo uplifting! Marjorie C-S
Thanks for this. I worked in the SRT business office in 1978, '79, and '80, and we did Pippin one of those years. This is a wonderful "recasting" of the sentiment of this song for a new time.
I so agree w/ Marjorie!!! Maybe I'll play this at least once a wk. to pretend that I'm "there" at SRJC w/ all the tremendous people and their myriad talents and appreciative, moved audiences/volunteers. ALWAYS, an embraced experience. Thank You!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Class of 2019. I'm so proud of you for the debate you had about whether to continue making the video and so happy you decided to complete it. The song resonates so differently in these times. Thank you for letting us hear the song in a new light and for letting your music be that lift that has, for centuries, gotten us through the darkest of times.
I absolutely LOVED it and the message. The young man who sang the role of Pippin, was spot on. I was in Fosse's Pippin on tour and loved this song. It was a showstopper for sure and you guys nailed it ! I give you a Standing Ovation as I yell BRAVO at the top of my lungs. Well done !!!
that tenor has the most perfect voice for Pippin
He is a perfect, beautiful Pippin

So wonderful to hear and see. I miss SRT so very much. This is the first year I have missed it in 24 years. I look forward hopefully to next season.
Amazing work. I know how much it can take to put something like this together and it's done beautifully.
Oh, my, thank you for that! What a gift !
