How was breakfast at Crosswinds? I've seen their menu and photos of the fare and it looks good!
It is much improved. Absolute must stop if you are in the area.
Why is there noise abatement in Payson?
There is a residential community just southwest of the airport so upon departure you are required to fly a 280 heading to stay North of this community. After passing it you can turn south and resume on your flight plan.

John, it cost me a little over $100 in fuel to get to KPAN from KFFZ. Then breakfast….. lol
