Dudley low key has the funniest character arc in Street Fighter because he only got involved with the tournament because Gill repossessed his car, and then he got it back by by 3rd Strike
@@nickkiller-0710 In all fairness, the car was from Dudley's late father, and Dudley basically recovered everything his family has lost, so... Well, that's a good twist in his story.
From New Generations until Third Strike, this is easily one of my favorite from all of 3's catalog. Such an inspiring song for someone who just wants to get his car back..
Hey Im the same guy from yesterday from the sterling Gillard who said that the song felt like a pre-boxing song. Well after that I was thinking about my old friends I started crying while humming the song and I noticed how sad me and the song are.
Miss these days im born in 1990 and the street fighter franchise has always been my favorite makes me wanna shed a tear can't front where has time gone 😢 thank you to my parents for buying me sfa 2 for my birthday Nostalgia ❤
I know its Bruce Robertson who did the voice for Dudley but I don't know why, but Carl Weathers comes to mind as the perfect real life gentleman for dudley.
Makes me sad to think, the music and artwork for New Generation and 2nd Impact will hardly ever be seen and listened to cause of the current music and art for 3rd Strike
As someone who grew up on New Generation and Second Impact I’ll always come back and listen to these themes no matter what. I’ve always preferred the music, stages, and presentation of New Gen/Second Impact over Third Strike.
This is beauty. Dudely is a great character ^o^. This song represent how chill and cool this guy is and when it come to fight time. Well an upper cut to a chin 😁.
I think it's a perfect symbol of who he is. He started boxing to try and earn back his father's fortune and in 2I, he was getting back his father's Jaguar. He's come on a great, almost impossible journey to honour his family and he's only had himself to rely on, and this song has that determined, fierce feel. But it starts jazzy and classy, because no matter how bad things have gotten, he is a gentleman. Always. My favourite fighting game character of all.
It's amazing: I never really played the first two iterations of SF 3. I have played them within the last year, and I still don't recognize this tune. When I think Dudley, I always think of Third Strike and street Fighter 4.
To me this always fit him way more than his Third Strike theme, it has class and dignity. His 3S theme doesn't sound like something he would have. This "sounds" like Dudley.
I see a lot of people be like "oh his 3S theme's better!" "No, his NG theme is better!" Yadda yadda yadda, all that jazz. But here's the thing, I feel like both Leave Alone here and You Blow My Mind both fit Dudley, just in different ways. Leave Alone is much more fitting to his personality, always calm, cool, and collected. He doesn't have much to worry about, other than his car and making it to tea time, after all. Meanwhile, You Blow My Mind fits how he fights perfectly, if you ask me. It's so energetic and a little all over the place, using plenty of different samples and instruments, but also all focused on delivering a consistent theme and feel. It fits his quick and agile play-style that constantly keeps you guessing on what he'll do next.
The song of being a trolldier, market gardner a spy just to see a sad spongebob and getting killed by an engineer. Killing another spy and air market garden another rocket jumping soldier that dies from fall damage, making friends with a friendly heavy just to witness him being sniped twice and die sudenly taking hits from another enemy soldier who gets backstabed by a spy, followed by a killbinding sniper and glancing over a shortstop scout pushing a spy from a cliff and follow with a killbind fall.

Dude beat the godlike leader of a secret society just to get that goddamned antique back, he really likes that car.
interesting lore, never played any game from this series lmao

Best of Dudley's music! Third Strike is a clone second!
Such a melancholy theme. No wonder Dudley's a chill dude.

Mood?! How so? This sounds kinda sad.
Fits his character arc from sf3ng to 3rd strike from being a loner and a bit snobby towards most opponents to being the gentleman of gentlemen
