Love the brevity and on-point articulation of superb content. I rarely ever join anything but your channel deserves our support and membership at such a very nominal cost, for all your efforts and time put into these videos. We get a lot more back in return so thank you.
I am so thankful for that Lee!! That is so kind of you! You are our first member. Seriously this really is going to help me out in the following and pursuing my passion. A ton of content coming, I will never miss a day thank you so so much
This is brilliant, thank you Tanner! Your explanations and demonstrations really help me understand better which makes it easier to put into actual play. Just awesome - can’t wait for the next one!
Hi Tanner, thanks for the great video. You demonstrated sliding in the video at 2:36, and when you slide to the right sideline with your lefty forehand (on the right side of the court), how do you cover the shots down the line? Squatting down and hitting a scorpion?
@@tanner.pickleball OK, so slide and sit forehand (lefty) unless you can predict a down-the-line shot. In which case, you'll have your two-hander ready. Thanks.
I'd love to see you do a video on how to handle balls, when you're at the kitchen, that come across to your non-dominant side, so you have to reach. I have much less trouble handling balls that come at my torso. I can defend them with my paddle like a shield. But those balls that come across just out of reach give me tons of trouble - I often give back a ball that's easy to kill. Also, have you done a video on high backhand slams?
Actually you half-answered my first question around 5:25 in this video, though I am looking for help when the ball is high but I'm having to stretch across my body to get to it.
On defense, should you back up from the line for balls that are high enough (shoulder to head height level) for the opponents to hit hard at an angle downward BUT not a full overhead straight down smash?

If I can predict the ball down the line I will use a 2 handed backhand!

Correct!
Brilliant….excellent tips. I even watch you on Tik Tok.
Thanks Liz!
What paddle are u using now?
Just got the Perseus. Gonna give it a shot tmrw
@@tanner.pickleball wait didn't u in one video said perseus suck ass and u prefer c2 why u trying it again
I am giving it another shot! I think I said it was not for me. After using many thinner poppier paddles, this may have more control!@@Syndrome88
@@tanner.pickleball it's a suck ass model.. C2 is definitely better I bought c2 because of what u said now u going back to perseus lol
Makes so much sense.
Thanks Dale!
@@tanner.pickleball I see pros doing these things but they are so subtle that they can escape notice.
Your videos continue to impress with important little details.
Thank you very much!
Good tips
Thanks brother
