I finally figured out how to follow these directions (I had to update my version of simpe - I couldn't follow along because I still had a version from like 2009!), but I'm wondering if anyone - creator or commenters - might be able to direct me to the directions for doing this from the command line. It takes HOURS for simpe to open on my computer, and if I don't need anything else from simpe, I'd rather extract the data without waiting for simpe to open. Thanks in advance!

Did you get it to work? I wasn’t able to find the “export neighborhood” option, and I was wondering if maybe it’s been moved or removed in a simpe update since the time of this video.
@@CatchingPiecesYes, mine worked just fine! I just followed the video closely and found the export neighborhood option in tools>neighborhoods>export neighborhood
I once had an issue with SimPE where I had missing features and that was because a certain file was missing from the installation folder. But that was years ago and I’m pretty sure that has been fixed in the newer SimPE versions. So I doubt anything has changed in the newest updates, although I haven’t checked. To me it just doesn’t make sense to move the export neighborhood option somewhere else for no reason.
@@juneygloomey Thank you! I was able to figure out that the issue was that my version of simpe was so OLD that the export function hadn’t been introduced yet! Once I updated it, everything was smooth sailing.

Hello, I don't have a place to install and use SimPE right now and I am a little hesitant to install the application because it seems a bit complicated. Could you help us access the lists of the original worlds in Sims 2? Can you send these excel files?
A few years ago I created a list to find and track their age again and then I turned it into a table but I guess I may not have completely taken note of each family's age at the beginning of the game. I'm not sure. I don't want to reset the game recording, I've gone too far in families. Do you have a list that shows how many days families stay in days or how many days are older than each other? Or, you know a list that someone else created. I think I haven't played sims 2 in 2 years and now I'm afraid to open the game to avoid doing anything wrong, I'm afraid to disrupt the whole order. Can you help me or can you give an advice for that?🙏🏻🍀Especially Desiderata valley, Riverblossom Hills, Belladonna Cove, Downtown , College Towns, Bluewater Village. I've tried to find others in the beginning of the video and found some of them but I don't know much because they usually don't know much about these worlds but ofc if I find the age record of all the original worlds in The Sims 2 put it back into a list and play it, I'll enjoy it more and there won't be any confusion. Please help me with this.
