    I so wish when they do the signature rocking back and forth move- that the KISS logo was lit behind them. To me, that should almost always be visible

      Hey Bryan - - Thanks for the comment on the video. Ya, I agree with you on the logo. I get why they use the big screen but I still think they could have shown the classic logo more, especially over that part.

      Thanks for sharing. Regardless of the some debates about supplemental boosting tracks in places and their use, I feel the show is fantastic. I'm a longtime fan who saw them in my younger years, and I wish they would play some deeper tracks, but my attention was to have a good time, and I can say it 100% delivered. All to say, glad to hear you're going. It's a well-produced show. This was my only time seeing Eric Singer on drums (I saw Eric Carr before) and kudos to Singer--the dude is awesome to watch.

    That hanging cable is not good.

    • @WayneDevin
      @WayneDevin  5 лет назад

      Ya, since you mention it, I wanted to point out to be people considering on going: I would be careful not to sit dead center in the back. Those cables do block some of the sight line for sure. In fact, several seated around us before the show were wondering if there was a problem with the stage set up or only an issue with the Tacoma Dome arena, but they do appear in the other location videos. If one sits in back to the right or left slightly, they will be fine. I was sitting about 7 rows up off floor in the back, but in the left-side section. If anyone from KISS production is reading comments, maybe you can tie those wires together more. LOL. It looks like they need them there, though, as it must power Paul's flyout and stage.

    • @WayneDevin
      @WayneDevin  5 лет назад +1

      infoguy1978 Hi. From my vantage point, it looked like most seats were filled and was a pretty lively crowd of all ages....saw ages ten to 70s. I should note, however, that the dome has second level sections on the right and left side. Those were blocked off with black curtains. All the seats in the back of the dome above us where filled.
      One other observation: The concert started at 8:45...1 hour 30 min late and it looked like a large VIP crowd was wrapping up with the band around 730, the original start time. A fellow concertgoer mentioned they were several hours late starting in Portland the night before due to a equipment bus breakdown coming out of Vancouver. Not bringing these up to be critical as I’m a longtime fine, and it’s the tour start, but just throwing in the observation.

      @@WayneDevin would you say there was at least 15 k at the concert?

    • @warmflight
      @warmflight 5 лет назад +2

      @@infoguy1978 Hi again. Good question. I've asked several people who went, and we all think around 15k attended--not much more but for sure around that. The Dome holds 23000 max and 20k for sporting events, so knowing that the two smaller upper sections were blocked off, BUT we had seating on the floor, I'm thinking 15k is a good estimate for sure. Hope this helps!

      @@infoguy1978 The set came in right at 2 hours exact. I think there is a guy who taped the show on RUclips, and his timeline shows 1 Hour 57 min.

    This has got to be the worst show I have ever seen except in 2000 when they played the Target Center in MPLS mn. That was just hideous as the 3D didn't work and the music was bad. The speakers that they used blocked a load of the stage if you were in the uppers. I saw them again 2010 with Tommy and Eric and they were hot as a firecracker. Just look at this stage show. No KISS logo no nothin. . .

    Wow, how sad this was to watch, Kiss is on its last leg, can't sing, can't play can barely move around stage, and the stage is boring, there is a painter as the opening act, I have seen tribute bands do better, and they are going to try and do this for 3 years, I dont think they are gonna make it
