I was in Hanoi just before the pandemic and I got sick. It was at the beginning of 2020 when there were only rumours of covid but I was trying to be cautious so I decided to just get food from a convenience store rather than eat at a restaurant and I found this instant pho. I randomly came across a video with someone eating it and it brought back so many memories from travelling. And since I was sick I hadn’t eaten much prior, so when I ate this I really loved it.
Yeah, nah these noodles hit all the right flavour profiles of what Beef Pho Noodles should be. They're great if you're craving pho, and want it right there and then.
You are goofy as hell! 😆 However, I think you gave a really great explanation of how the noodle tastes. I am a Caucasian American male who loves to try different foods from other cultures. I stumbled upon my first Mama Pho noodle when I was 22yrs old (I'm 43 now). I was hanging out at a friend's house one day, and I was hungry. He told me that I could eat a noodle of his, if I wanted. When I opened his cupboard and seen the Mama noodle in there, I jokingly asked myself, "Mama?! What kind of name of a noodle is this?!" 😆 But whenever I decided to try it for the first time, Iwas hooked! It was really good! Ever since then, I have been eating them almost everyday! I will NEVER go back to Ramen; their noodles taste too cheap compared to Mama's! (If you compare the quality of the noodles themselves, along with the seasoning pack(s) as well, you can quickly see why the large price difference. As I'm sure you already know, Mama is twice as expensive as Ramen. Remember: it's all about supply & demand! 🤭 For those of you who have never tried a noodle from Mama, you're simply missing out on a very good-quality noodle. Period. Just don't go buying them all up; SAVE SOME FOR ME!!! 😆
Mama is an instant classic. I had the Tom Yum almost everyday for breakfast. My mum use to throw lettuce and leafy greens in there because it was the only way I could handle eating veges as a child. I really enjoyed the pho bo one. It hit all the right flavour notes, if you added some lean beef and some hoisin sauce on the side, you'd get yourself the true vietnamese experience from these noodles. Yeah it's not too bad! Not as good as like Vietnamese restaurants.... but it's got a good soup base. Add some vo vien, lean veal, some beansprouts and some hoisin sauce + sriracha... it could turn out something really nice!
i just got this exact soup and i cooked my soup for 4 minutes and when i went to stir my noodles, there was a small plastic fork folded up 😐😐😐 no where on the box or instructions does it say there's a fork in there, it was like IN or under my noodles too??? should i still eat it.... 😭💀
It’s time to boil these noodles, nice 🍜 Pho is my favourite ! I throw some Chinese BBQ pork in there and its delicious ! I wanna say something about wearing my dog costume and being a pho-ry or only lasting 2 minutes and being a Veit-nym-pho-maniac but I won’t as I just heard your pho cough ! Anyway keep up the good work !
Mama does the best flavourings, I think their noodles could do an improvement. You defos need to go get restaurant pho, and if you don't like that, then you'll know you've tried real stuff haha.
