I always have a phase where I watch a lot, then Sybert kinda falls off my radar, and this has happened several times over the period of maybe 5 years...and everytime I check him out, I'm always glad to see he's still there casting C&C games. He's been doing it for 10 years now, and I hope there's gonna be at least 10 more :)

saying that, Leaf is one of the best players on kW. and probs, one of the few who beat me. But not for many years.
Also, his been busy with 4K Mod and stuff & Patching.
Yes nobody can really beat me, I think the fact i've won 99% of events
99% of show matches in past 4 years shows this. I mainly stopped as i've got no time for too much event play, as I like to spend time with my kids.
If anyone could beat me they should have done it in the past 4 years 👉👈 so yes I would rather let other people have some fun and win, im done 😋
Maybe once in a while ill play in an event.
But i feel the same is for master leaf, we are just getting old. And there's more important things than events in this game

Dang... that was one hellacious match between 2 living legends.... no Scorps; just Raider Buggies n Beam Cannons.
As usual, thanks for your cast, Sybert, as well as to both Bikey and Masterleaf for providing such an excellent match.
A little bit of calculation on the beam cannon DPS: I count a max of 13 beam cannons combining their beams at the end. Assuming no changes to MARV armor or beam cannon DPS since 1.02, we have:
DPS of 13 beam cannons (grenade): 150*13^2 = 25350 DPS, times 1.25 for rear armor damage = 31687.5 DPS
Armor of MARV = 19500/10% grenade damage = 195000. No engineers in the MARV for auto-heal, and I'm not sure if an EMP'd MARV can even auto-heal.
So 13 beam cannons can burn down a rear-armor MARV in 195000/31687.5 = 6.2 seconds, despite dealing grenade damage that MARVs are very resistant to.

BikeRushOwnz is probably the single best player atm. That's great for him, Im sure he's a great guy, but it also works against him because I usually avoid the games with him in it because 90% of the time he wins. He's *too* good, it's anticlimactic because I know he's going to win.
So it was a really fun watch this game to see Leaf win with such an unusual style, beating the meta-best faction atm AND his opponent being BikeRush! Incredible game.
Is the Zocom considered top tier now?

It is a fact that we are facing two Gladiators from the game Kane's Wrath. Masterleaf on one side, BikeRush on the other. It is quite true that the protagonist, Masterleaf was perfect, sublime in the theater of war. BikeRush, on the other hand, looked like a novice, on the first day of class. HAHAHAHAHA! Congratulations, Masterleaf. You the best. It was the Ultimate Predator.
Have to be honest, I though this would be a usual match. The incremental win here and there would eventually snowball to a bikerush win.
Was not expecting that though. The unexpected death of the first MARV alone, nor the beam spam and the pivot towards Bikerush third expansion.
Even bikerush own multitasking would have trouble dealing with that.
There is always some kind of plot twist with Masterleaf, he plays to do fun, unexpected things, and sometimes that gives him the win, even when it seems impossible.

Usually in many of your videos that I've seen (specially team games), BikeRushShownz is such an unorthodox monster that almost always takes the win, but here he actually lost to what used to be one of my earliest strategies with regular Nod all the way back since Tiberium Wars: *lasers for days!*
All that was missing were a few Venoms to seal the deal, but my gosh, that Buggy and Beam combo was nostalgic!

We almost dont get to see bike losing at all. That makes this game interesting! Especially as it was not even close.
In fact, i cant remember a single loss for him since Sharpsence's miracle.

Otherwise a really nice play with the tib field bait and the heroic buggy shredding zone raiders. Beams made a great finish!

This was basically the perfect counter to ZOCOM. I don't really see how that faction comes back from that. Maybe Zoneheads? I think that's the best shot they got.

I see these two players as the top players of CNC but they differ in terms of their play.
Masterleaf is a very technical player who knows the tiny little details of every unit/structure in the game while Bikerush is great in terms of outplay and unit control.

I think a BBB (buggy,bike,beam) build could be all most unstopable. Its got good mix of anti armour anti air and anti infantry.

Micro heavy as heck though.
black hand should be a cost-effective counter, shock troopers with disks shred that combo and zone troopers do alright if the buggy mass isn't too big. pacs should also work, but need a lot of micro.
if a commando hides in the mass she would basically delete all counters except mass pacs (which are too much of a starting investment to meet this rather early army) or secured artillery (again high starting investment)
Are the videos converted to play at 4K 60FPS or is there a software to tweak C&C display settings to run like this video?
