Thanks for sharing. I built pull-outs under our GD 2800 dinette as well. I just put 3" furniture slides under the drawer I made. The factory board under the door can be removed by taking out pocket screws and then attaching it to the face of the drawer. It slides out easily on the carpet and the draw can be deeper since it's a few inches lower. Just another idea!
I made some drawers like this for a 19' TT. Makes a huge difference in storage space. I did one bench at 3 feet, the other I did at 28 inches. I also built my drawers with 1/2" ply and installed dividers in them. The space in the back of the "short drawer" is for things that we don't often need access to. I found that despite the slide being firm in its pull, it still opens while traveling. I put some plastic shims under it now, when I travel. Have some barrel hasp bolts to install as attached drawer locks for travel.
First, excellent idea... you have inspired me to do something similar in my Itasca. Maybe I will video it. Second, awesome background music! Who is that??
For someone who doesn't have the time, tools or talent to do this would you consider making and shipping them out for a markup? (Minus the drawer front obviously)
yes, but I would bet the shipping costs fully assembled could be high! They can be built using turn lock internal metal hardware, you would assemble (Ikea style) that would allow them to be shipped flat and probably save a lot on shipping. The slides and mounting is the most critical part, and they do need shimmed out to be installed. I could provide the cut shims approximately the right size. I saw approximate because there is a change your unit could be 1/8" or more off from mine depending on who built it that day. But I can take that into account by under sizing it slightly. I have made a handful of others, and have changed the design some. These I threw together using my contractor/jobsite saw and materials I had laying around.
Great project. Professional. Best part was your daughter joining in to help and dad cutting the video to go play. Awesome!!!

Nicely done. Your daughter adds a great touch to the video!
Thanks for creating this video and sharing the step by step from design to completion. Much appreciated!

Nice job, you have a great little helper there.
Great music on the reveal!!! I’m doing this tomorrow!
Dont know why Grand Design engineers dont think of this, maybe you could sell them your ingenious idea, great job!
As RV owner, that much additional storage is a game change. Good job!
Really appreciate the video and the link. hopefully mine turns out as well as yours.
This is a great idea. It's a pain to access the bench storage. This makes it a breeze. I'm doing the same to my 2670MK.
Thank you for sharing!
Very nice!
Would it be easier to shim out sides first then figure out how wide to make drawee less slides?

Thanks. I do not recall who that is. It’s license free you tube music! Figured it fit.

Nice mod, music blows though😂😂
Great informational video. Just lose the obnoxious music.
Video would have been great without the music!
