This man obviously has a background in carpenty. Beautiful craftsmanship all around. I am getting ready to build my kids a treehouse and am getting ideas.
Absolutely the most satisfying video I’ve ever seen on YT. Just complex enough to be worth the build, but shown with enough detail to make it seem doable by a man with decent tool skills. Add in the zip line, dog, all the kids and the swing, and you make a dad aspire to accomplish this. Thanks for the how-to!! I’m mentally planning and saving now. 😂
This is awesome! Lots of platform around the inside structure, the zip line, the functionality is fantastic! The only thing I’d probably add is a “rock wall” off the side that faces the house with an entrance off that side of the platform.
I'm pretty sure trees push up out of the ground. A friend has a hat rack that was put up for horses about 40 years ago. It's now about 8ft off the ground.. be interesting to watch
Loved seeing the dog enjoy the project build 😊 looks like a kids paradise. I was thinking maybe you can add some tall trees on the fence line for additional privacy. Great job! 👍
An exceptional job, you did everything yourself. Very inspiring, I found your video looking for a tree house, but you make a whole playground, great job 👏🏻
@@KeimpieceCarpentry A quick question for you... does your treehouse move around quite a bit when the kids are playing on it since the one side's joists aren't secured to the tri-beam? I assume yours is pretty rigid since your posts were fully set into concrete, but my posts are secured to footings by metal brackets so they're not as rigid and I'm a little concerned about this thing moving around a lot.
Great build. I found your videos while looking for treehouse builds. I've watched most of your other videos now too. I plan on downloading your Treehouse, Shed and Gazebo plans for my own projects. Retired Army Scout here. I tried but not once in any video did I see a bowl of crayons, still looking though. Love your videos brother. Thanks for your service.

@stringmankzk Will do brother. Im not quite the carpenter you are so I need all the guidance I can get. I'm really feeling the urge to build my own shed/shop as opposed to buying one, and your 12x24 is perfect.
you could make the cut with a table saw you'd just have to do it on both sides and then use a hand saw to cut the rest of the way through. Hope this helps!
Thanks for watching. It really didn't take too long. I had some set backs with rain, so had to build the structure and paint it in my garage, but if I was to do it again I think I'd knock it out in like 3 days maybe 4.
Thanks for watching, yes the tree isn't effected. There have been lots of studies done and these bolts are made specifically for this application. The tree will just grow around it.
Hey awesome tree house, is the platform floating on your beam? I’m building one for my kids and are using the tabs and floating brackets. When you set your posts in the ground I assume that the actual platform is floating to let it move freely.
There are plans available on my website if you'd like to build it. It's actually a pretty easy project, I designed the plans in a way that reduces that amount of materials and cutting required. the house is 6x6 and platform is 12x8
