  • Hi Everyone
I shot some video of our new Park Model Trailer been placed on our property on Stanwood Michigan. I can't wait to enjoy the summer up there next year. I will have some final pictures and video in "Part 2" after the skirting is on and the landscaping is completed. Thanks to John, Jim, Mike and Dean at Vacationland Sales for making this a wonderful experience.
    Enjoy

So fast you can’t really tell the steps you’re taking to secure your Park Model Home safely to what looks to be a poured concrete foundation.

Is this unit for full time living or just occasional?

+kirk kopak I own a home like this, It is my second one. You can live in it year round or use it seasonal. It is up to you how you use it. Mine is my permanent home. But some parks are only allowed six months to live in it, that is mostly for snowbirds. So ask before you rent the lot, Most parks are annual leases. They are great to live in, But its small so some people cannot do it. It depends on your personality. I love mine. It's just a mini home. :)

Anna Larson I have a question. If I needed to move it every 4 years would it be worth it. Like rv park to another rv park. ??

The one that I owen is classified as a RV Park Model. It can be moved whenever I desire. Now there are Park models that look just like this and they are not classified as RV's. it cost a lot more to move. Mine is the same size as the one in the photo. Just be sure when you purchase it is a RV classification. Here is what I know about moving it. I am located in Sarasota Fl. I got several bids to have it moved to Miami Fl. It was between &$600 - $800 dollars. But that was just for transit. I would have to get my a/c moved and sit back up. Some of the newer models have the wall a/c unit. Which now helps with transit so you have no issues of damage. Just be careful who you hire to move it. There are so many RV park acroos the nation that accepts the RV Park models, mine is in an RV park 30 minutes from Anna Maria Island. In my opinion I think they are well worth moving. It is home to me. Mine is an Ansi Stewart,12x32 built very well. I love mine. You just have to be willing to live simple but to me that is a joy. I hope I helped you. To me this is living large.

With the supposed tiny house movement, these park model tiny homes are mansions compared to what people are building. I still can't figure why someone would pay over $65k for a 170sq ft tiny house to be built when you could pay less for a 400sq ft park model like the one you have and not have too climb up a ladder to go to bed.

    Fast setup doesn't represent quality.
