The cinematic team is different than the in-game art team. Cinematics are always beautiful. Everything else in-game has gone downhill majorly since Legion
And that pillar is starting to crumble cause this doesn't really look like Warcraft and the dragons feel tacked on, with out the narration they do not feel like they would even be there.
Art and music team. Writers are the black dragonflight of the team.
Of all the expansions to come out, this one is definitely the most recent.

Didn't Medivh declare the age of mortals in the ending cinematic of Reign of Chaos? Like after Night Elves gave up their immortality to save the World Tree and the High Elves lost the Sunwell?

Idk the trailer is pretty bad compared to, say, 2 expacs ago. It doesn't have any tension narratively and the dragons look far from the polish that's expected of Warcraft cinematics

So my understanding of the story in this trailer is the watches have been asleep only to be awoken by the sound of shareholders crying. This brings them to activate the tower to reveal the Dragonisles because if Dragons cant save Wow then nothing can....turns out the Jailer wasnt behind everything, its the Shareholders!

It'd be more realistic if it happened 1000 years ago instead of 10,000, 10,000 years ago there should be way less evidence that it happened than there is in the world. 10,000 years is an insanely long time in the scope of civilization, written human history in its entirety isn't even 7000 years.
Except the sundering happened AFTER the dragons left their home to help
The War of the Ancients trilogy had the dragons helping before the Sundering, not leaving after. Don't know what retcons occured since then though

The dragons have no power. This was how Cata ended and is canon. They gifted us, the player base, their powers in order to protect azeroth.
