I was so blessed with so many gifts this year. The only craft related gift was a $10 gift card for Michael's ( a craft store chain here in the U.S.) from my son's girlfriend.

You got some lovely craft related gifts. I got a ball of yarn in my secret Santa...but not sure people like to get me crafty things because they don't know what I have. I still have my little knitting doll..I called it a Knitting Nancy. I bought that shawl & wraps book when it first came out and although I love some of the patterns I have never actually made them. I love looking through books though. I don't really know how to use Instagram apart from liking things and posting the odd photo. Sending you all the best for 2018 in your craft life and personal life too. xx

Knitting Nancy, yes, I was trying to remember what I called them as a child, thank you! Oh cool, well maybe if I do one out of the book, it will stimulate you to do one 😉. Hi Karan,you don't have to say thank you,it is I that should be thanking you.You had some great gifts.Your row counter is like the one we use for counting our sheep,only ours is stainless steel.I had some James C Brett marble glamour in a brown mix and some Sirdar Smudge a chenille yarn in well it's called Flock I don't know why,it is burgundy! I also had some circular needles with very short cables(40 cm) I have been very spoilt by my son and daughter-in-law,and my grandson bought me a new pair of headphones so I can hear you better!! I can hear your camera purring away like a contented cat.Chip sounds happy today as well. I wish you and your friend a very happy new year.Love to you both and Chip.bye xxx
Oh awesome - now you have a second use for your counter ;) Do you make your own wool? Sounds like lovely yarn, but I do agree some of the names can be very odd lol. I'm glad you were spoilt.
