I dig the aesthetics and tone of the game; would love for the devs to craft a level-by-level FPS within the canon of this game, ngl. Something akin to Doom 2016/Eternal, with possible upgrades and a bit of exploration. The talent is there, imho.
Honestly what brought me back to this game after I forgot about it months ago. Nothing like Hunt Showdown but this look like it will scratch the itch I've had wanting a PVE Hunt.
@@Erosgates Sadly they never will as it's always meant to have been PVPVE (Mainly PVP) focused. The community can become toxic fast if you even mention a PVE mode.
Hey Wanderbots just now found your channel & must say I am loving the content you upload. I enjoy longer (Hour or so) video as once a video ends it's a clear reminder for me to get up & stretch & take a brake. Not to mention it's nice not having to alt tab every 20mins to change videos.

@@wanderbotsIf that’s the case I’d certainly be willing to give it a try. My experience with epic games has been okay, not great enough to want to use it exclusively for games that I could launch on steam otherwise.
just found out this game is out but not on ps4 store yet? i remember the development of this game years ago kinda felt like painkiller but over time it felt less and less, just started watching this vid but want to ask. are there like swarms of enemies coming at you at any point during this game.
no its in early access and just started early access last year and full release will be next year. it is only on epic and steam right now and they have not said anything about consoles let alone ps4
I was really hoping for spiritual successor/upgrade to Painkiller but they had to make it a roguelite/extraction thing. Shame, the aesthetics are top notch
@traestyles25 I know, but it launched with epic exclusivity, and that carries a negative air to me. I'm hoping that they don't shoot it in the leg when it comes to the proper platforms.
@@secondarygroup6715 Epic Exclusivity has hurt nearly every game that has taken it in recent memory. I *hope* it's quality, but you can never know until someone buys it on the other platforms and finds out. I'm gonna wait to see if any reports crop up before I risk my hardware.

Perhaps the status effect that was slowing you down was the death prevention. It looked like your health was completely gone there.

It was the plan since they started EA. And recent info suggest a full release end of 2024.

Ideally only a few months. It says 2024 on the steam page last I checked.

Every video looks samey to me. Boring environs. Little interaction with the the world.
Everything epic exclussive is an instant skip for me, but i like the overall concept.
