Hiya Troy, wow that's so beautiful, it's truly amazing color, awesome video you found the 8th wonder of the world. It's so blue it's breath taking. Keep up the great work. Cya
Very nice find! Question, how do you remove the matrix to preserve the most of the blue? I have some blue and pink from Richardson's Rock Ranch that was not T-egg, but it has very hard matrix around it. I don't want to destroy / shatter the common opal.
Omg I just saw the Oregon fire opal video yesterday. Now your telling me Oregon has blue opal?! Damn guys nice job. I commented on the fire opal asking if I could help, gain some knowledge. I'll bring some tissues cuz I'll probably ball like a baby if I pull something like that out. Thanks for the upload!!!
What Oregon county did you find this in? I’ve been on one trip looking for opal but all I found was agate. I suspect I was too far to the east from where I’ve heard they are found.
@outlawrocks nice of you to give those details. I asked a guy recently where he struck blue gold and all he said was the blue mountains...couldn't tell me what county
Just found your channel and I love it, this is such a good find. Both the material and the channel.
Currently Rockhounding Thank you! We will be making more videos.

Dedication pays off !
Like other material (opal) I have found it fractures. Do you stabilize it ?
Wow! Nice find! Gonna have to save up and purchase a few stones to play with.
Dan Watts Thank you! We hope to further develop the blue opal mine this season.

That such a beautiful blue color!
Thanks. To polish with sand paper what number do you recommend?
I could also see vugs in the outcrop. is there any crystals in those small open cavities? There might also be zeolites at that location.
awesome find!.. but question... what is the name of the song in the background in the beginning?
