When mine is fully extended the only way to get it to draw backing is if I physically pull on the ribbon rather than pushing a button, what do I do to make it go back in?
Yes it is. That being said with retractable leashes it's almost always the retracting mechanism that breaks not the actual leash or rope. However the Tug leash has done great with my 100lbs Tamaskan.

I got a kong i did have the tug..i choose kong over flexi
.i found this would retract randomlly somehow sometimes and sometimes not lock immediatly
do u think i should get a large or a medium size? i have a 50lb husky. thx
I would probably go for a large given the high energy of a husky
